Grateful for this pillow
Honestly didn’t think my problem would be solved by this pillow I can’t express enough how grateful I am my hands where falling asleep to the point that even to my elbows nothing I do helped would be up all night doing neck exercises and stretches this pillow has brought sanity back to my life
Soft and supportive memory foam pillow
A pillow is a deeply personal thing, and opinions run high on whether a pillow is comfortable or not. It is impossibly hard to give an accurate review of a pillow – it might give one person migraines, and another person will say it changed their life and relieved their back pain.
I am in between these two opinions. For reference, I am a side or stomach sleeper. But I am trying to become a back sleeper because everyone says it’s better for you I thought this pillow might help me make that transition.
For reference, I use a ridiculously flat pillow (because of stomach sleeping). So this pillow does feel very high to me. So I start the night trying to sleep with it, but end up reaching for my flat pillow halfway through the night to be more comfortable.
It’s very soft but supportive memory foam. I don’t find it makes me feel hot. The pillowcase is also soft, but I don’t love that it’s so thin. TMI alert: I drool a lot and I think this pillow would get gross really quick without an addition pillowcaseand you can’t wash memory foam. (Of course if I slept on my back I wouldn’t drool lol)
One side is slightly higher than the other, but I can’t really tell by eye (and especially not in the dark). So I wish it was a little clearer which was which (a tag or something?) I like the hole in the middle when I’m sleeping on my side, because it prevents pressure on my ear (which has bothered me with other memory foam pillows).
It had no chemical smell that I noticed.
I will keep trying to use it, because I can tell sleeping on my side is not good for my shoulder. Even using this pillow for side sleeping seems like an upgrade. Hopefully my experience helps you, but I honestly think a pillow is a “try it yourself” type of product, regardless of what anyone says. At $35, at least it’s not a huge investment if it doesn’t work for you.
