Everything I need in a keyboard
This is my second Keyboard from Epomaker, and I’m really thrilled with the aesthetic and performance.
As I’ve come to expect from the Epomaker brand, the build quality is incredibly solid. This thing is a tank. It feels very premium, and every time I try to move it around my desk, I’m caught off guard by how hefty this keyboard is. I have no concerns about the durability and longevity.
I’ve been bringing this board back and forth with me to work, and I’ve been taking advantage of the three different connection options, as I switch between different computers at work and home. All three have been very stable, very easy and to quickly set up.
I tend not to use the lighting effects, especially since I’ve been using this keyboard at work. But they are really cool looking, and fun to play with! This keyboard looks great in general, and I actually think it looks better in real life than the it does in the product photos.
I’ll also note that I selected the silent switches, which has been awesome for work, as I often share work spaces with other people, who would not appreciate a clicky keyboard in close proximity. The silent keys are also great for music production, as I’m not worried about accidentally recording keyboard clicks. The silent keys are not quite as satisfying as something clicker, but it they still feel chunky and satisfying to type on
The volume wheel is incredibly useful. I switch back and forth between a lot of different audio sources (social media, news apps, netflix, spotify, music production etc) and the volume often jumps a lot when switching tabs or software. So having quick access to that large volume knob has been incredibly useful. That feature alone made this a worthwhile purchase.
The screen is kind of useful when adjusting settings, but doesn’t offer that much functionality outside of that. And all of the settings can be adjusted through other Fn+Key combos anyway. The screen displays the time and date which is cool but usually not really necessary, since I’m usually using this keyboard in conjunction with a computer. But it’s also weird that there isnt a way to adjust the date and time on the keyboard itself. You have to download separate software to adjust that. The most useful thing that the screen offers is the battery meter, so I know when to plug it back in.
And speaking of the battery, so far, the battery has been fantastic. I’ve had this unplugged for about a week now, and the battery meter is still reading fully charged. Since I run this keyboard wired occasionally when I take it to work, It seems like I’ll probably never actually have to think about charging, which is great.

It's worth the money
This keyboard works awesome and I would recommend it. The keys don’t make that mechanical noise you would expect when pressed instead it’s almost silent and the keys feel like pressing a soft gel pad. It’s very soft and smooth like typing on a cloud. The charge life is awesome also. Very happy with this as a mid level keyboard
I looked for a medium-priced silent keyboards for months until I landed on this one. I have migraines so the silent factor was crucial for me. I can 100% say it barely even makes a sound. I also paired it with the Epomaker AegisSil keycaps and it is a dream to type on! Quality is amazing: it is heavier than I expected. Personally, I used their web personalization without any trouble. And last but not least, I used it for 3 weeks straight, with lights and screen on, before I had to charge it for the first time. Charging it also only took about 40 minutes from 0% to a 100%. I truly recommend it.
Toller Klang und super Schreibgefhl aber ein wenig teue
Ich habe die Tastatur nun schon seit einer Weile. Ich bin von der Qualitt der Verarbeitung, dem Tippgefhl und auch dem Aussehen absolut begeistert. Die Switches sind zudem extrem leise und klingen sanft und dumpf. Der Bildschirm im oberen Eck wird zwar wenig von mir genutzt, ist aber ein lustiges Feature. Ich habe hier ein GIF in Dauerschleife laufen.
Seit einigen Tagen funktionieren die Tasten des Numberpads teilweise nicht mehr perfekt. Es knnte sein, dass ich die Tastatur dafr mal subern msste, ist mir aber bei anderen Tastaturen so noch nicht passiert. Zudem ist sie sehr teuer und hat ein englisches Tastaturenlayout.
Has a premium feel and look, sea salt keys type like a dream. VERY quiet as advertised. My only issue is that the backlight is EXTREMELY dim no matter what. You can’t really see the keys. Either the letters in the caps needed to be transparent so the RGB shines through, or the lights need to be brightened up BADLY on the next model.
Is it really worth it?
Ok, listen. I never wanted a “expensive” keyboard. I didn’t see the reason for one. I though a keyboard was a keyboard.i was wrong.
I had a very loud keyboard. It was starting to bother me (yeah I know it’s what I bought but things change) and I wanted something quiet so I can type and be in the phone.
I did research and settled on the Epomaker TH99 Pro with the sea salt silent keys. Have you ever loved a keyboard? Yeah me either..until now. It does feel different. I understand what they mean by feeling good when you type. Trust me when I say I did not think it was possible. The typing experience is different if you get a chance to try one, I highly suggest it.
The quality is amazing. It’s a solid keyboard and the weight makes it even more premium. I had no issues connecting the keyboard to my main desktop, but also my steamdeck (easiest connection I have made to the steamdeck) and my travel laptop. Wireless BT and 2.5 all worked well.
No issues with setup using the software and customizing the RGB. I 100% recommend this keyboard.
Great everyday keyboard
Very satisfying thocky feel despite the silent switch. Great everyday keyboard especially if you’re in an open plan office and are conscious of using loud mechanical keyboards.

This keyboard is a big improvement over my company issued low profile keyboard. It’s very quiet and the sturdiness and weight are perfect. High quality for a reasonable price. I will be moving the delete key to a better position which is another great feature of this keyboard.
Allows me to enjoy writing
Would I ever find a keyboard that would allow me to write as I think? 2 out of 3 of my occupations require me to write. From short messages to 40 page briefs is my normal range of documents. As most of you, I brainstorm, create thought blocks, organize, draft, re-draft, then finalize. Many a keyboard I have gone through in an attempt to find that right “blend” of feel, design functionality, and coolness. At my old age, this keyboard fits my bill. Funny thing, I can’t tell you precisely why. I suppose it is personal. The thing about writing is that you want to enjoy writing, fighting the keyboard is counter productive. I don’t fight this keyboard.
Is it perfect? No. I wish it had home and end keys. Yes, it probably can be swapped out for other keys but heh, I said I was old.
