Solid daily performance
Long daily sessions at my desk highlighted comfort more than anything else, and that part has been handled very well here. Typing feels controlled and gentle, even during extended use, with very little finger strain by the end of the day. Noise remains low enough for shared spaces, which made evening work far less intrusive. Desk stability stood out immediately, staying firmly in place without constant adjustment. Visual elements add usefulness rather than distraction, helping with quick checks during work without pulling focus. Wireless use stayed reliable throughout, even during back-to-back tasks across devices. Customisation options offered flexibility without forcing constant tweaking. Minor learning time existed early on, though muscle memory settled quickly. After sustained use, fatigue dropped noticeably compared with older setups, making long workloads far more manageable.
AWESOME keyboard
heavy duty, great feel. The backlighting is great, totally customizable with a ton of presets. The keys…. they’re great. They’re the perfect mix of creamy, chunky feel when typing and i got the sea salt silent switch so they’re not loud at all. The volume knob is a great feature and the little LED screen is easily customizable with GIF’s too. I don’t notice any latency at all when typing on BT, which is the “slowest” setting, but you can also use it with the included usb cable or removable USB thing. I’ve had it for over a month, using it every day for at least an hour of typing/ Linux work and I’ve only had to plug it in to charge once. Granted, the keyboard “turn off” after 30 sec of inactivity, but still, it’s awesome.
Beautiful silent keyboard
Great keyboard. Built with good quality as I was looking for a slightly lightweight keyboard for transport to-and-from work. The switches are really silent which is great for an office environment, but too silent and mushy for my own liking. I might try some other semi-silent switches for work.
The keyboard feels nice. It has a good bit of weight to it. This is a 98 keys keyboard so I’m going to see if it will work for my needs. It’s super quiet. I changed out the key caps to work with my nails when I do them. I don’t know much about keyboards I needed something that I could change the key caps and switches this way I don’t always have to buy a brand new keyboard. I got the silent switches.
Everything I need in a keyboard
This is my second Keyboard from Epomaker, and I’m really thrilled with the aesthetic and performance.
As I’ve come to expect from the Epomaker brand, the build quality is incredibly solid. This thing is a tank. It feels very premium, and every time I try to move it around my desk, I’m caught off guard by how hefty this keyboard is. I have no concerns about the durability and longevity.
I’ve been bringing this board back and forth with me to work, and I’ve been taking advantage of the three different connection options, as I switch between different computers at work and home. All three have been very stable, very easy and to quickly set up.
I tend not to use the lighting effects, especially since I’ve been using this keyboard at work. But they are really cool looking, and fun to play with! This keyboard looks great in general, and I actually think it looks better in real life than the it does in the product photos.
I’ll also note that I selected the silent switches, which has been awesome for work, as I often share work spaces with other people, who would not appreciate a clicky keyboard in close proximity. The silent keys are also great for music production, as I’m not worried about accidentally recording keyboard clicks. The silent keys are not quite as satisfying as something clicker, but it they still feel chunky and satisfying to type on
The volume wheel is incredibly useful. I switch back and forth between a lot of different audio sources (social media, news apps, netflix, spotify, music production etc) and the volume often jumps a lot when switching tabs or software. So having quick access to that large volume knob has been incredibly useful. That feature alone made this a worthwhile purchase.
The screen is kind of useful when adjusting settings, but doesn’t offer that much functionality outside of that. And all of the settings can be adjusted through other Fn+Key combos anyway. The screen displays the time and date which is cool but usually not really necessary, since I’m usually using this keyboard in conjunction with a computer. But it’s also weird that there isnt a way to adjust the date and time on the keyboard itself. You have to download separate software to adjust that. The most useful thing that the screen offers is the battery meter, so I know when to plug it back in.
And speaking of the battery, so far, the battery has been fantastic. I’ve had this unplugged for about a week now, and the battery meter is still reading fully charged. Since I run this keyboard wired occasionally when I take it to work, It seems like I’ll probably never actually have to think about charging, which is great.
