Clean Mac Mini setup with useful ports and storage expansio
I picked up this Acer Gadget dock to use with my Mac mini, mainly to add more ports and keep the desk setup cleaner. The design fits well under the Mac mini and looks like it belongs there. The aluminum body also matches the Mac style nicely, so the whole setup looks neat instead of having a separate hub sitting on the desk.
The extra ports are very convenient. I can plug in USB drives, an SD card, and other accessories without reaching behind the Mac mini all the time. The HDMI port and additional USB ports make it easier to connect more devices when needed.I also like that it supports installing an M.2 SSD inside the dock. That gives an easy way to expand storage without using another external enclosure on the desk. Installation was straightforward with the included screwdriver and screws.After using it for a while, everything connects and runs normally. The dock keeps the workspace tidy while adding useful connectivity and storage options.
