Let me start by saving this electric yarn winder is a LIFE SAVER! I used to wind my skeins with a manual yarn winder and it was a loooot of work. I tried this electric one as soon as I received it and it was so easy to use. All I need to do is to set up the machine, set up my skein on a yarn swift, thread one end of the yarn through the loops and fix it on the cone of the machine, and then turn the machine on. The best part is I dont have to keep an eye on it every minute. Within 5-8 minutes, I received a nicely winded yarn cake. I tried it with different weights of wool (roving and worsted), and they both worked perfectly fine. Im so happy with the purchase and would highly recommend it to anyone who like to buy skeins of yarn.

Works really well, needs to be spun in one go for the best effect otherwise it looks a bit wanky but no problem with knots or anything. Love the cake that comes out !!
