I have hated the auto/stop function on my car. My battery was replaced very early because of this function.
I installed this switch and now I’ve had no more restarting issues!
Easy install as well
Just what I was looking for. I rated four stars because there are no instructions or a link. I did find something on YT that helped. You should be or have someone with a little more experience.
That being said works for and solved that ridiculous feature on newer cars.
What seems to be a common problem with Toyota Highlanders is a battery issue after this many years. The start stop eliminator really worked well, it took me a minute to figure out the clip to disconnect the wire harness was facing the drivers door side. I also found a setting under vehicle in the center dashboard screen to reduce the time of the auto off for the headlights to help save the battery a little bit more.
