I installed this universal pushstart/remotestart kit on my Ram 3500, and it works exactly the way I wanted. Converting the truck from a traditional key ignition to a modern pushbutton setup makes daily use feel smoother and more convenient. The remote start works reliably, and the passive keyless entry is a nice touch for a big truck.
The Bluetooth app control is surprisingly useful — being able to lock/unlock, start the engine, or locate the truck from my phone adds a layer of convenience and security. The alarm features, shock sensor, and automatic locking give the truck better protection than the factory setup.

I like this remote start kit because it adds several convenient features to my vehicle without requiring a completely new factory system. This swaps a key barrel for a button on the dash, and remote start, keyless entry, and an alarm all come along with it. The fob handles the approach unlock. The app covers the rest from my phone, including the door locks, the trunk release, and locating the car in a lot.
Brake and parking brake detection is built in, along with door and fuel pump status. I want that on any button start conversion. Silent alarm mode is the one I’d leave on.
The app runs on Bluetooth. It only reaches the car from close range. Wiring is the other cost. It taps the ignition, the door locks, and the brake circuit. That’s real time under the dash, not a plug in job.
