Product description

It's nice to have the pictogram icon buttons
This touchscreen toaster is nice because it has pictogram icon buttons. I like the 10in long bread slice slots because they fit larger slices of sourdough bread. It’s important to do a test run of this toaster to burn off any oils on the coils and to allow any unpleasant fumes to be removed during initial heating for the first time. I like that this toaster has a clean out tray that pulls out from the bottom for easy cleaning of the crumbs. The bagel setting works correctly because it’s designed to only heat one side which is the outside facing coils; so be mindful of how you place your bagels. The outside of this toaster does get warn if you’re using for a couple of back to back rounds of toast. After playing around with different times and settings you’ll eventually discover the correct setting for how you like your toast darkness level. I would recommend this product.
Touch buttons work 70% of the time
This is a double-sized toaster that can handle four slices of toast or two full bagels. The toaster comes with many different settings that change the time that it runs or what heating elements turn on.
It seems to also be smart in the fact that if you had just run the toaster and you were to toast another set of items, that it won’t run as long as it did in the previous cycle when it was cool.
The overall look of the toaster is quite sleek, and having pictures for all the different options is really nice. My biggest complaint is that the touch buttons aren’t consistent enough to give this a full rating in my opinion. I sometimes have to push multiple times for it to register my input.
On the plus side, the consistency of the cook seems to be really good. I generally like my toasted items on the lighter side, and it has no problem hitting that consistently. I have a much better indication of how that is going to cook compared to my older toaster.
The toaster is also built mostly out of metal, and it makes it have a nice sleek finish to it. If I were to complain about one thing about the build, it would be that the feet aren’t rubbery enough. Because of that, the toaster tends to slide when using it. That means in order to pull out the crumb tray that they have, you have to hold the toaster with your other hand, otherwise it will slide.
With that being said, this seems to be a durably built toaster that provides a lot of functionality and cooking space. It’s also well-priced for what it offers. Despite the flaws, I really like this product.
Ok, this toaster’s “touch screen” description is a bit of a stretch. The digital display is the toasting time, so I was thankful it was not another digital clock to set. The other buttons are back-lit on a membrane panel, so it not really a screen. That design is fine with me, as I do not need a touch screen millimeters away from a hot surface.
But, the unit is easy to use, and does look nice. I have measurements in my photos if you need to check size.
The outside finish is durable stainless steel The lowering handle is recessed so it does not stick out.
Crumb tray slides out easily for cleaning.
I tested it out by toasting some small pieces of bread. It toasts fairly evenly. The control panel is very easy to use and lights up the buttons brightly to confirm your selection. It actually looks pretty cool when it is lit up.
The heating strips inside the toaster are evenly spaced on both sides of the slots.
Cord is not very long but it does have cord storage under the bottom of the unit.
When the timer finishes, the toast pops up like most toasters however the production description says it rises gently. It is normal like most toasters, so don’t expect a slow, gentle rise of the toast upon completion.
The brand name is printed boldly on the side of this toaster. Comes with operating manual.
Overall this toaster looks good and works well, and despite the product description being a bit misleading, it seems like a good value for the money.
Smart Toaster With Plenty of Options
This 4 slice toaster is noticeably bigger than a regular toaster, with wide 1.6″ slots that easily accommodate different types of bread. The touchscreen is easy to use, and I like having six browning levels to choose from depending on how light or dark I want my toast.
The preset functions for bagels, waffles, defrost, and reheat are convenient, while the timer and memory lift make it easy to get consistent results. Toasting time can still vary depending on the type and thickness of the bread, but overall, it’s a well designed toaster with plenty of useful features.
A Toaster with More Control Than Two Levers
The touchscreen is the first thing that makes this MOOSUM toaster feel different from a traditional four-slice model. Six browning levels provide plenty of control over how light or dark the toast comes out, while the digital timer makes the remaining cycle easier to follow. The 1.6-inch slots are wide enough for thicker bread, bagels, and waffles that can be awkward in narrow conventional toasters. Defrost and reheat modes also eliminate some of the guesswork when you’re not starting with ordinary room-temperature bread. Memory lift is a useful feature for checking progress without completely resetting the cycle. Stainless-steel construction gives the appliance a modern appearance that fits nicely in an updated kitchen. This is a feature-rich toaster for anyone who likes more precision than simply choosing between numbers on a dial.
Ultra modern toaster with a few flaws
I ordered this touch screen toaster to replace our standard toaster that we have had for years! I am slowly trying to upgrade our appliances to more modern options. I have to admit I was a little skeptical after I tried it first for bagels because –please note– only one side of the bagel gets toasted! I used the bagel option and that is when I was sure I would not be keeping this toaster. But then, I decided to use a bread option. The bagel toasted on both sides. Now, I’m not extremely happy that I cannot use the toaster as intended for bagels the way I like my bagel toasted (both sides), but it is still a quality toaster that makes it easier to choose a visual setting rather than selecting a number. I am still not sure if I can use it to toast a muffin. So yes, there are some things that either seem weird to me or just do not work as I would prefer or expect, but I still consider it worth the price because of the fun touchscreen interface, the extra wide slots, and the stainless steel design.
First, I love that this has a 30-day full money back guarantee with no questions asked. They believe in their product. Then there’s also a 12-month warranty for quality-related issues. Second green flag.
As for the toaster itself, I have to admit I feel a little bougie with a touchscreen 4-slice toaster. I’m a simple girl who likes simple things, but I also love me some toast! And when I am in the mood for toast, I want at least 3 slices: 2 and a half for me at a minimum, and half a slice for the doggie tax. If you know, you know.
It was simple to use, absolutely plug and play. The panel lit up like a Christmas tree with all the varying levels of toasty goodness, along with buttons to select the type of glutinous gluttony going down — bagel, white (bread), waffle, muffin (MUFFIN? HOW? I must know more), and grain.
I like my bread toasted medium well, so I selected setting #4 (out of 6 levels). That’s why in the picture the fourth toast looks darker than #5 and 6, because it was the one selected. The timer shown is not a clock, it’s the countdown. 3:20 for my #4. The pictures show the result, but it clearly shows that one side of each piece got darker than the other — the 2 pictures show the same pieces of toast in the same positions, only flipped over. Seems the sides closest to the outside of the machine got a little darker. But I am not hating at all, it doesn’t bother me because spread goes on the toastier side for me.
After I turned it off and unplugged it, it cooled down fairly quickly for this type of appliance with a heating element. In less than 10 minutes it was cool to the touch.
Overall, I really do like this toaster. I’m just afraid that now I will want more touchscreen appliances in my kitchen which will get expensive. But if you have a borderline unhealthy love of toast yourself, or a large family where 4 slices at a time is a necessity, this will certainly meet the need.
