Well made, solid and durable feeling, working very well so far.
So far this seems great. It’s well made, looks nice. And it’s strong feeling. The metal is thicker and well finished. I’ve yet to install this, but after connecting to a power supply and testing, it seems quite good. The functions and features all work well. The fans aren’t too loud but are decently powerful. The touch panel is good, responsive and easy to use, The remote works , but I’m not a fan of those tiny thin remotes, a larger more substantial remote control would be much better in my opinion, less easy to lose or mistake with another. Not a huge issue, I don’t see myself using the remote very often, and it’s a nice feature to have. I think it’s a fair price and I also think it’s going to look good installed.

This stainless hood matches my appliances perfectly. Baffle filters are dishwasher-safe—pop them in weekly, they come out like new. Dual LEDs light the stovetop clearly. Energy-efficient. Great quality and easy cleaning for the price. Very happy.
Easy install, great flex
Not handy, but the full kit made mounting this 30″ hood easy. Included 6.5′ ducting and damper saved a store run. Went ducted, but can switch to ductless later. Clear instructions, perfect fit, ~1 hour install. Great flexibility—highly recommend.
So far so good. I picked this one solely because of its tall size. I was replacing an 11″ tall one and this fit closely. The other features were a plus.
The shroud and grill are pretty well built. The fan housing is plastic, but it’s decently strong enough. We shall see how long it lasts over the years (hopefully).
The LEDs are sufficiently bright with daylight white temperature.
The touch controls are minimal, but there’s not much you need from a fan. What it does provide, it does as expected. The motion sensing is very helpful as well. Wave your hand across the front and it will turn on, wave again in the same direction and it will slow down one speed. Wave in the other direction it will set a 1 minute shutdown timer. Wave again and it will immediately turn off.
I hardly use the remote, but because it is Infrared based, I was able to use SwitchBot’s hub to control the fan with voice, integrated with Alexa. Only basic control though, on or off.
The grills seems easy to clean. I haven’t had it long enough to accumulate enough grease to clean though so I can’t say for sure.
The only things I didn’t like is that the time is permanently in 24H mode and that the exhaust opening is too close to the back/wall side. There is a very slight rattle from the LED plate on mine, but not enough to dock a star. I’m sure I could fix it if it bugged me enough.
Perfect for My Basement Kitche
I installed this range hood in my basement kitchen, and it works great. The 900 CFM fan quickly pulls smoke and cooking smells out, with no lingering odours. The stainless steel looks nice and matches my other appliances.
I love being able to control it with the remote or touch panel. The three fan speeds give me good options for light cooking or heavy frying. The baffle filters are easy to clean and dishwasher safe. It was simple to install and works perfectly for my space.
