Golden Review Award: 1 From Our UsersUnique Product that Functions Well
I know it’s a bit expensive, but it is a unique product and it very much works as advertised.

The CruiseCup holds two standard 12 oz drink cans and is loaded by pushing the two cans up from the bottom (it is open on both ends). The intent of the designer was for the consumer to consume the first can and then push the second can up into the “ready” position and perhaps load a third can in the process.

I don’t use it that way. Instead, I take it in the car with me when I go hiking. I leave it in the car and, even after being away for several hours in the summer heat, when I return, I have two nicely chilled drinks waiting. That alleviates the need to bring a small cooler with ice or gel packs. Great car accessory, even if you’re not hiking.

Some reviewers have commented that is is difficult to remove that last can. They apparently have yet to discover that both the top and the bottom retaining collars unscrew from the stainless steel canister. Removing either collar makes removing the cans easy — and that also makes it easy to clean, should any liquid spill. The listing really should clearly mention that the collars unscrew.

I’m very happy with this cooler — it’s really made my life just a tiny bit easier.

Fun novelty that actually does the job!
What a nifty gadget! I often make 5-6 hr car trips and want to take a few sodas with me. This is great to keep them cold on the way without taking up the room of a cooler. You can actually drink from a can while it’s in the sleeve, but it doesn’t fit in a cup holder, so I just pop a cold can out as I need it before opening it. My daughter and family recently moved to Hawaii, so this will be perfect for them to take to the beach for a couple of hours without having to drag along a big cooler full of ice. It is solidly made of stainless steel and designed for easy can removal and cleaning. It’s actually fun to pop the empty can out of the top while loading it with a new can from the bottom. This is comparably priced to similar-sized thermoses, but an extra fun novelty that works!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersKinda Gimmicky, But Works Well
First off this thing is pretty large however it does work fairly well. The ability to basically keep the party or hydration going with popping in a new can from the bottom is pretty cool, but it does have its caveats. Since the bottom is open it does allow for some of the coldness to escape through the bottom as well as the top actually and it does allow for condensation to develop if you are in a humid place. If that is the case I would not suggest this for use on a wood table without a coaster or the like. That being said it does keep cans pretty cold for a decent amount of time. When I’m drinking say a beer or a seltzer water I do like my beverages ice cold and for me I found it to be sufficient for about 2 hours, after that it gets a little bit warmer than my liking but again I like things very cold and straight out of the fridge. I have found this useful to take along a couple of cans of seltzer water for my daughters and throw into a cold bag that I typically use for shopping. This method has allowed the cans to stay quite cold for when they would like their seltzer water.

The loading feature is neat and it does work well. Personally I only like drinking directly from it if I know I’m going to be moving through beverages a bit more quickly. When you’re on your last beverage it does become a bit awkward and top heavy, but it definitely still works. The main thing is to pull your last beverage to the top so it holds well, and don’t slam it down or anything crazy like that.

At just under $35 currently I do feel it’s on the pricier side for what it is and would prefer to pour my two beverages with ice into my large insulated tumbler. If you’re heavy into can usage though is great especially for like a backyard barbecue or at the pool, it can definitely keep the party going, LOL. For my use it works well primarily as a carry along without having to worry about ice to bring along a few cold beverages.

Overall I would still recommend it and I do feel that it is good quality.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersIt's big
I used a lot of these can coolers. In the image, you’ll see this one next to a single 12oz. and a single 16oz. can cooler. It is much bigger. I expected that, since it is for two cans. What I did not expect is that the diameter is quite a bit wider than the diameter of the ones I have for single 12oz. cans. Overall, that makes it look massive in comparison. Unfortunately, it’s only the outside diameter that’s larger, so it will not hold a 24oz. can.

Another difference between this cooler and most can coolers is that the bottom is open. They all have an open top to put a can in, but this one opens the bottom which allows warm air in through both ends. In the interest of science, I set about to determining if I could continually drink 12oz. beverages all night by using that push down a new one to pop out the old one method and have them remain cold all night. Well, after having consumed about 14 beverages -all very cold, I’ll tell you- I began to lose interest in the experiment and ordered some take out. When I awoke the next morning, I found 2 beverages still in the cooler and still respectably cold. It worked great!

Having said all that, drinking from it is pretty awkward. The center of gravity gets very weird when you have the extra weight at the bottom. It takes more effort to tilt the can at the beginning and as you get near the end of the open beverage, the weight of the other can will try to force the thing to topple over when you get it above a certain angle. Not a huge issue, but not great either.

What I found it is ideal for is taking a couple of sodas when the wife and I go to breakfast and then shopping. I hate paying two or three dollars for a soda at the store and this allows to have a couple on hand and nice and cold throughout the day. For that purpose it’s great. I could see throwing a couple cans in a backpack without the need for ice.

This stainless steel, double-wall beer or soft drink holder by CruiseCup is perfect for a day on the lake, at the beach or by the pool. I drink water 90% of the time, but something about being in, on, or near a body of water just makes me crave a Cherry Coke Zero…or two. But they have to be crispy cold. This double-wall drink holder will do the trick, especially if you keep the drink holder in the fridge as well I’m not sure if that’s what is intended by the manufacturer, but hopefully it doesn’t hurt. I found it easy (and fun) to load two cans into the holder but a bit intimidating to eject the empty can. I’m sure it will get less scary with practice. The weight of the two cans and the holder together might be a bit cumbersome for some people, but no more so than a 40oz Stanley. I was happy to learn that I could unscrew the bottom to remove the cans if necessary, so I will likely be using that method. This particular drink holder only accommodates 12oz cans, but I think they make a holder for the slim cans as well. This would honestly be a good gift for some of my Lakelife friends.

Wow, great idea, not bulky like a regular cooler but you can take more than one beverage!
I didn’t even know they made these but it is exactly what suits my needs. I don’t drink enough to warrant an entire cooler, but my single can cooler is just not enough sometimes. This is stainless steel and double wall so it retains a cool temperature as long as your beverage starts out cold it will stay cold for a long time. I tried this with 2 cans of 12 ounce seltzer because it’s all I had on hand. Each end screws off to secure the cans, you can do end to end or top and bottom, I kind of like having an open end on either side so that when you finish you don’t have to open it and move the second can in order to drink from it. Stainless steel is always tasteful and appropriate for outdoor activities and venues. I’m so thrilled with this double can cooler, because it fits my lifestyle perfectly. Going to walk down the block to hang out with the neighbors for a little while, double can cooler. Heading out to run errands all day, load up your can cooler.

Golden Review Award: 1 From Our UsersEasy to use. Unique gift. Useful at parties.
This Cruise Cup stainless steel can cooler is double wall vacuum insulated. It keeps my cans cold for several hours. If you go through cans quickly, then you won’t have cans sitting in the Cruise Cup long enough to get warm. It’s easy to use. Just reload another can from the bottom and it pushes the top empty one out. You can also unscrew the top and bottom rings to easily clean the Cruise Cup. It fits standard 12 fluid ounce cans. This is an unique can cooler and makes a cool gift. I am happy with it.
