1 week in and it’s doing the thang . Comes on automatically when at dusk . Bright light weight and you can hear when a bug is zapped . Doesn’t run all night. How many hours it run I don’t know ar all I’ve seen it on 5hrs after it comes on . Comes with a usb charger cord brush to clean the grill a chain to hang it anywhere easy to put together no tools needed . Turn off instantly when a light comes on and comes on instantly when it goes out .
I just recently put this solar bug zapper together a couple days ago, and it did have at least some power to test things out. It was easy to assemble and I put it out during the 4th of July weeknight as I was BBQing. Now usually in the North TX evening when I’m out in the yard, or just chilling on yhe back porch, I get lit up by mosquitoes. My wife can sometimes go untouched, but me no chance at all, do it’s quite frustrating. We did hear a few zaps here & there but not like I thought and I’m not quite sure if any of the bugs were mosquitoes. I did make it through the BBQ session with only a couple bites. For the sake of these also very pesky flies here as well, not one zap so far. I’d like to give it a full week of moving it around wherever I’m busy before I can give it another star and updated review. Overall it does seem to be at least working and I’ve had no issue with the solar charging as of yet. It’s also nice to be able to move the device around without an electrical cord. I would recommend this item.
Very versatile and don’t weigh very much. The appearance is sleek and high-tech. The battery life is great and the solar panel makes it even better. They are plenty bright enough but not so bright that the neighbors wonder what the strange glow is from your backyard 😉 I haven’t heard any noise from them other than when they zap the bugs. We had an old school bug light before that you had to plug in and it was very cumbersome and very loud when it would zap the bugs.
Right now we have one and we have a third of an acre it’s supposed to cover a full acre and it probably does but we want to get one more just to be safe. I like that it has a switch on it that you can turn it off if your dogs get freaked out by a loud popping noises when the bugs get zapped then you can easily get back into the bug annihilator game by switching it right back on. It’s great if you live in an area with mosquitoes for sure. It does get full of bugs even from the first use and it’s easy to clean.

It works well when it works. It runs out of battery overnight. So it doesn’t work early in the morning. I am still trying things out to see if there is something I can do differently.
I actually bought this for our chicken coop. However, I’ve also used it in our home. Our AC went out for a couple of days and we just seemed to have an over abundance of flies. So I brought it in and it worked all night and we were fly free by mornin! I think they thought of everything. It runs off solar and it can plug-in C and A adapter. It has an auto button and on button. It hangs or stands and it comes with a chain. It also comes with two little legs with stakes attached that go into the ground in case you want to put it outside and not hang it. It also comes with a long cord that attaches to the solar that can be detached from the solar panel. I thought it was price friendly and so far I can’t think of a place or time where I can’t take it or use. The solar doesn’t last all night if you put it outside and of course it doesn’t work as well when the suns out because the bugs aren’t as attracted to the light it produces. When it’s the only source of light is zaps continuously. I haven’t had it for very long. I usually don’t like doing reviews until I’ve had something for a while. However, so far it’s worked out really well. Very good quality. It’s not heavy and you can put it just about anywhere and it not be on the way. Personally, I love it and wouldn’t mind having another one. very affordable.
The device charges and recharges fast. Charged and zapped all night and day. It is versatile as you can stand it, hook it , or place it on the stakes they come with. It is easy to use. Attracted bugs easily since the lighting was very bright which attracted the bugs and zapped them. The size is big, but it is attractive enough that it looks like a garden accessory. Well worth the price especially since it’s solar, no electric bills to worry.
