A wonderful collection of the Platinum Security sagas.
Everyone has a backstory that makes them who they are today and it’s no different for the people of The Platinum Security Firm. These men and women are fearless, dedicated and passionate. They are also hot, sexy and know what they are doing in and out of the bedroom.
This set walks you through each members “situationships” they encounter in their fieldwork. Ohhh and their fields are plentiful. Mercy me, if I needed protection when I was single – I’d definitely hire them.
Seriously, it is a great read with just the right mix of suspense, lust and humor. No need to wait for the next book release, it’s all here in 1 set. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

I enjoyed each story in this romantic suspense series. The guys of Platinum Security take their job seriously and each is a former military member with skills and smarts to protect their ward with success. Charlotte and Gray traipse around the LA countryside while evading her stalkers and going on the offenseive to find and bring the group to justice. In Velvet and Valor, Axel tosses out one liners like his life depends on it, but when June is facing imminent danger he steps up and gets the job done. Each story has an unexpected element that takes the book up a level. For Cole and Emory’s story, for me, that was the Boy Band that Emory is choreographing for, coming to the rescue, even if it was unsuccessful. In Dane and Selene’s efforts to put her ex boyfriend back behind bars, it was the two serial killers that he broke out of prision with him because their histories were chilling. Each story is filled with emotion and feelings that provide depth and weight to the respective relationship. The performances of the narrators are solid and enjoyable, but i will say for me, it took a couple of stories before i began to enjoy the female narrator. To be honest it could be my hearing aids that made her voice grate at times.
Safe in His Arms is a compilation of the first four books in the Platinum Security: Shadows of LA collection. And, boy are you in for a treat with this set!!!
First, there’s Stars and Scars, the story of Grayson and Charlotte. She’s a successful influencer. When she is targeted with death threats, Grayson in sent in to protect her. She’s is in tremendous danger and something has to changeor she will end up in a very bad wayLoved this story! There was plenty of action, danger, intrigue, betrayals, twists and turns galoreand oh, so much romance!! Excellent read!!
Next is, Silk and Steel, which follows Cole and Emory. Cole is the newest recruit of the Platinum Security and his first assignment is to protect Emory. She is a choreographer, trying to make it big by working with a boy band’s comeback. Overall loved the story! Great characters! Good story line!
Third, we have Glamour and Grit, the story of Dane and Selene. Selene just got hired as a makeup artisttemporarily. Her brother gets into some troubleand brings her along for the ride. Dane is a former Navy SEAL who is destroying himself because an error. He is asked to protect her by a friend. This was a good story! Selene is greatalmost too greatbut, I admired her. Some confusion for me in this story
Finally, there’s Velvet & Valor, which follows Axel and June. She’s a film producer and, at the airport, runs into some problems.Luckily, Axel is there to help out. We discover that the danger for her runs deeper than anyone ever imagined. But, Axel is there every step of the way.with or without her approval. Good story. Liked the characterssome slow, mid-read areas, but overall a great read!

The third book, “Glamour and Grit,” is former Navy SEAL sniper Dane and Selene’s story, and wow, what a story it is, angsty, emotional, and deep. “Velvet and Valor”, the fourth book, is former Army Ranger Sawyer and June’s story, an action-packed story and an exciting end to the series.The characters are interesting and their story intriguing, and I loved the L.A. theme/setting in each story. A romantic suspense with flawed men who are protective and great at what they do, and women who are just as fierce. There is never a dull moment in these captivating stories, stories with multi-layers that include plenty of drama, angst, action, thrilling suspense, and steamy romance. As always, the writing, plot, world-building are fantastic, as are the depth of the characters, their growth, and development. Kelly Myers, thank you for this fantastic collection of books, each a wild ride and just as amazing as the other.
Jamie Kersey and Kenneth Elliott continue to do a fabulous job bringing the characters to life, giving each a voice that is fitting. They embody their characters completely, grasping every aspect of their personalities and are convincing in every role. Their expressive performance conveys all the characters’ emotions, and has you feeling them all. These two are a great narration team, with voices and talent that complement each other and a captivating performance that rivets you to the story.
Great reads
The stories were all well written perfectly paced pulling you in from the start. Platinum Security comes to help people in need of security where the police can’t be of the help they need. Each story deals with a different member but they are all there to help when needed.

Charlotte finds herself being threatened by an internet stalker to the extent she needs protection. Grayson, ex-CIA agent turned bodyguard from Platinum Security is hired to help Charlotte. Their personalities couldn’t be more different. This book has numerous storylines that seamlessly intertwined with unexpected connections. Their love story is full of tension until they acknowledge there Emory is a strong women who didn’t hesitate to take legal action against a boyfriend who was abusive. She is an extremely confident woman who took control of her life. Her abuser got released from prison so she hired a private detective from Platinum security firm, Cole. This book has numerous storylines that are seamlessly interwoven that kept me reading. Each character has interesting backgrounds that adds depth to story. Cole and Emory have a sizzling relationship that made this book fascinating. The twists and turns lead to a satisfying HEA.
