Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersDoesnt Save Space, But It Does Almost Everything Else
This review is for the following item: Ninja CrushBOSS 4-in-1 Blender, Processor & Auto Dicing, 1850PW, LB451B. It was selling for $319.99 when I reviewed it.

I was a bit reluctant to order this initially because I already owned two of the four individual machines it can replace: a food processor and a blender. I eventually decided to give it a try, mostly because I hoped to save space by storing one machine instead of two separate machines and all their accessories. I’m now glad I made the jump, although not for the reason I anticipated.

First, as a food processor, this machine is extremely efficient. It has chopped, pureed, and liquified everything I’ve used it for. As with most processors, there are a few minor annoyances. When slicing, grating, or dicing, there are usually some pieces left sitting on top of the blade between the blade and feed chute. The small pusher inside the larger pusher, used with the Multiblade attachment, is also a little awkward to pull out. Neither issue is unique to this machine, though, so they don’t really detract from it for me.

One thing I especially like is that the processor lid is sealed with a gasket and the bottom of the bowl is fully sealed. This makes a huge difference when processing liquids or really wet foods. My old 11-cup processor frequently leaked liquid around the center of the bowl and sometimes between the bowl and lid. With this one, everything stays contained inside the bowl.

The downside is capacity. The processor bowl is only 7 cups compared with the 11-cup bowl on my dedicated processor. That’s worth knowing before buying, although I rarely maxed out my old 11-cup bowl anyway. There is also a dough blade, but I haven’t tried it and probably won’t. With a 7-cup bowl, I can’t imagine making much dough in it. Even my pizza dough won’t fit in my 11-cup processor.

The Multiblade attachment is cleverly designed. It slices flat or scalloped and also grates, but instead of storing three separate discs, the individual blades slide into a single disc. I used the scalloped blade to make crinkle-cut potatoes that I cooked in my air fryer. They came out as slice-shaped French fries rather than sticks, but they worked great.

The Ninja AutoPrecision Dicing System is another interesting attachment. I used it to dice tomatoes for bruschetta and expected it to smash them much more than it did. Instead, it produced genuinely nice diced tomatoes very quickly. I’m not sure how often I’ll use it, though, because there are quite a few pieces to clean afterward. For smaller jobs, the cleanup can consume much of the time you saved by using it.

One important warning: the dicing grate is RAZOR SHARP. I thought I was being careful while disassembling and washing it and still managed to cut two fingers. I never even felt the blade when it happened, so be extremely careful handling that piece.

Next is the blender. A blender is probably the least-used appliance in my kitchen. I generally use one only for frozen cocktails, mostly pia coladas, and the occasional soup. But the manufacturer claims this blender can turn ice into snow, so naturally I had to test that.

Lo and behold, it actually does! After only a few pulses, the ice was pulverized into actual snow. Now I have a machine that can make snow cones in the summer as well as incredibly smooth frozen cocktails. That feature alone has me sold.

Finally, there is the personal blender cup. I assume most people use it for smoothies, something I had never made at home. Since I now had a machine that claimed to make great smoothies, I went out, bought a bunch of fruit, chopped and froze it, and started experimenting. The results are incredibly smooth smoothies with the press of a single button. I still need to figure out how to make them taste good, but the consistency is mind-bogglingly smooth!

One of the best features of the machine is that it automatically senses which vessel is attached and adjusts how it operates. When making a smoothie, for example, I just fill the cup, attach it, and press Start. During the cycle, the machine pauses several times to let the solids fall back toward the blades, then starts again and eventually stops on its own. It doesn’t get much easier than that. You can also override the automatic programs and operate it manually if you prefer.

As for the space-saving idea that originally convinced me to order this, that turned out to be a bust. The motor base is as big as, or bigger than, my old food processor. The processor bowl occupies about the same space as the old one, the blender pitcher fills the space where my old blender sat, and the personal cup and various discs, spindles, and attachments actually require additional storage.

So no, it didn’t save me any space. What it did give me is a very capable food processor, a surprisingly powerful blender, an excellent personal smoothie blender, and a genuinely useful dicing system, all running from one smart motor base.

In the end, I love it and I’m definitely keeping it. It works as advertised, looks good, makes food prep easier, and has already gotten me doing things in the kitchen that I wasn’t doing before. I ordered it hoping to save space. Instead, I’m keeping it because it’s a really good machine.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAll the bells and whistles
I’m preparing for Thanksgiving where I plan to mix, blend and chop my way to a large family meal and needed some serious kitchen help. So I ordered this set from Ninja.

To be honest, I was slightly overwhelmed by all the parts. But the box itself as well as the accompanying guide are labeled well, and everything fits easily together. You can easily tell that they are of higher quality, the pieces feel solid, the plastic pieces are tough, the metal pieces super sharp.

I wouldn’t call myself a cook but even if you’re a casual home chef, you’ll be proud to whip this out when you have company. The set is like the Ferrari of blenders and processors. Lots of bells and whistles, and can take a beating with heavy use.

My favorite of the three is the mini blender that doubles as your go to bottle. I make my favorite smoothies before hitting the gym with it, and reward myself with another one when I get home.

The set is a solid investment worth considering.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersOne Machine That Can Replace Half the Appliances on the Counte
The Ninja CrushBOSS is seriously versatile. I love that it combines a full-size blender, personal blending, food processing, and automatic dicing in one system instead of needing separate appliances for every job. The 1850 peak watts give it plenty of power for tougher blending and food prep tasks.

The auto-dicing feature is probably what makes this stand out the most for me. Being able to get evenly diced ingredients without chopping everything by hand can save a ton of prep time, especially when making soups, salsa, meal prep, or recipes with lots of vegetables.

I also appreciate having the personal blending option for smaller portions when pulling out the full-size pitcher would be unnecessary. Overall, this is a powerhouse of a kitchen system that can handle everything from smoothies and frozen drinks to chopping, processing, and dicing. If you cook often, having one machine that does this much can definitely help cut down on appliance clutter.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersDo yourself a favor and just order it!
I literally have a crush on my new Ninja CrushBOSS 4-in-1 Blender, Processor & Auto Dicing System. When I first heard about this system, I thought it would be a good way to consolidate and get rid of multiple appliances in my kitchen, but I honestly didn’t anticipate how many different things this system can do or how many kitchen gadgets I would be able to say bye-bye to in favor of this one appliance.

At first glance, it obviously replaced my blender, but the things this blender can do put my old blender to shame. Not only can it do the usual blending stuff, but it powers through frozen fruit and crushes ice to snow like a boss. My other blender would leave chunks of frozen fruit behind, but the Ninja blends even rock-hard frozen fruit into a smooth-as-silk concoction. The big blender can make a large enough batch to feed a crowd, while the 26-oz. BlendBoss is perfect for days when I’m running solo and just want to whip something up for myself. The fact that I can blend, turn it over, stick a straw in the same container, and walk out the door without having to transfer it to another cup or wash anything is mind-blowing. Where has this been all my life? I was so happy to send my NutriBullet down the road in favor of this baby boss!

And bye-bye food processor because the PrepBoss can chop, dice, and prep ingredients just like my processor, if not better, because now I also have the option to slice, shred, cube, and crinkle-cut veggies. Making fruit salad has never been easier.

I thought all these choices and options would be overwhelming and confusing, but the Smooth Sense Technology makes it incredibly easy. It knows which vessel you’re using and quickly adjusts the program to give you the best results. On top of that, all the parts are removable and dishwasher safe, making cleanup a breeze.

If you’re on the fence about this system, don’t think about it for another second. The convenience, freed-up kitchen space, and amazing results are well worth the investment. This is one kitchen upgrade I didn’t realize I needed until I had it, and now I don’t know how I lived without it!
