Fun toy
This is such a fun little toy for toddlers! My little one was immediately interested in the phone booth and loves all the different buttons, sounds, and activities. There’s a lot packed into such a small toy, so it keeps them entertained while also giving them opportunities to practice numbers, sounds, and different words.
I really like the two-way talk feature because it makes the toy feel more interactive, and the voice recording is such a fun addition. The career coins are also a cute idea and give kids another way to play while learning. The songs, animal sounds, and number activities make it more than just a noisy toy. They can actually learn while they’re playing.
The size is great for little hands, and there are plenty of things for them to push, turn, and explore. It would make a really cute birthday or Christmas gift for a 1–3-year-old. Overall, this is a fun, interactive educational toy that has definitely kept my toddler interested and playing!
Awesome Toy For The Littles
Ok, This little toy I actually really really like! It’s a “different” concept, alittle something fun and new vs the same type of toys over and over at major stores etc.
The musical booth is easy to put together (I know my photo doesn’t show that, that’s because my daughter is wild haha) but, it just clips together and you can either dial numbers from the phone booth itself, or it comes with (also not pictured), a little phone! That is probably the coolest part, it does require batteries but basically one person can talk into the booths intercom, while the other “answers” from the yellow phone. My daughter was pretty amazed by this. My only real concern/complaint is that the little coins you insert into the phone booth to select who you wish to call, are a tiny smaller than I would prefer. They aren’t nescessirly choking hazards, but being that I have a 9 month old who puts everything in her mouth, these seemed like they could, even if not likely, be a problem if she shoved the whole thing into her mouth. Now, the cool thing is is you can dial the “people” that the coins are for (police department, fire department etc) straight from the booth, meaning you won’t miss out really on any of the features if you choose not to use the coins. Either way, I really like this toy and so does my daughter.
Lots of fu
This little phone is absolutely adorable and has way more functions than I expected. It has three different modes, giving kids lots of different ways to play and explore.
One mode lets you “call” different animals. Press a number and you’ll get the corresponding animal sound followed by a little greeting, like a puppy barking and saying hello. There’s also a song mode with 12 different songs, one for each number on the keypad, including the star and pound buttons.
The number/directory mode lets kids dial different pretend numbers, including police, fire rescue, Santa, and other fun options. If you press a number that isn’t one of the designated numbers, the phone tells you which number you pressed.
It also comes with six little character coins featuring different occupations, including a firefighter, delivery person, doctor, police officer, and bus driver. Each coin has a different ridged edge that the phone recognizes when inserted and responds with a greeting from that character.
My favorite feature might actually be the receiver. It works like a little walkie-talkie! You can press the button on the receiver and talk through the phone, or press the walkie-talkie button on the phone and have the receiver respond. It would be really cute for kids to have conversations from opposite sides of the room. I haven’t tested the maximum range, but the concept is adorable.
The phone base takes three AA batteries, while the receiver takes two AAA batteries.
The only things I would change are the short cord connecting the receiver to the phone and the stand. The cord is a little flimsy and only a few inches long, so it doesn’t really serve much purpose if you’re using the receiver as a walkie-talkie, although it is handy for keeping the receiver attached to the phone when you’re not using it. The stand also doesn’t seem to snap completely securely into the base, so the phone can lean backward a little when pressing the buttons.
Overall, though, this is a really cute and surprisingly feature-packed pretend-play toy. There are so many little things for a child to discover, and I think it would provide a lot of fun imaginative play.
I would personally say that this toy seems to be more so for older kids simply because of the fact that its a little more complicated to understand. My four year old couldnt properly understand how to use it. I took away a star because one of the main features of this toy doesn’t even function properly. If you insert the coin for the police, it says its a bus driver. If you insert the coin for a nurse, it says its the bus driver. Only one works correctly. So thats unfortunate. Though, its really fun if you’re there to play with them. The two way talk was very entertaining. The audio is actually pretty clear too. Theres also another feature where it repeats and talks back whatever you say, which my kids loved to mess around with. Overall, I have mixed feelings about this toy. Its quite passive and barely interactive, but my kids really loved to play together with the two way talk.
Fun interactive toy for kids
This musical toy phone booth has been such a cute addition to our toddler’s toy collection! I was looking for something that would keep him entertained while also giving him opportunities to practice numbers, sounds, and communication, and this little phone has been a big hit. It has so many different features packed into one toy that there is always something new for him to play with.
One of my favorite features is the two-way talk function. Toddlers love pretending to talk on the phone, so being able to interact with the toy makes it even more fun. It gives them that feeling of having a real conversation while still being a simple, age-appropriate learning activity. It’s also adorable watching him pick up the phone and start “talking” like he’s having an important conversation.
The voice recording feature is another really fun addition. He loves hearing sounds and voices played back, and it keeps him interested because he can interact with the toy rather than just pressing a button and listening. It’s a simple feature, but it adds a lot of entertainment value.
I also really like the different career-themed coin activities. The coins give little ones another way to interact with the phone booth while introducing them to different jobs and concepts. It’s a fun way to encourage pretend play and imagination. I love toys that allow children to pretend while also learning something along the way.
The educational features are definitely a big plus. There are numbers, songs, animal sounds, and other learning activities, which makes this much more than just a musical toy. My little one enjoys pushing the different buttons and discovering what each one does. The songs make learning feel more like play, which is exactly what I want at this age.
The size is also great for toddlers. It’s easy for little hands to hold and interact with, and there are plenty of buttons and activities without making the toy feel overly complicated. It’s the kind of toy that can be used independently, but it’s also fun for parents or siblings to play along with.
I think this would make an excellent birthday or holiday gift for a 1-, 2-, or 3-year-old. It’s colorful, interactive, educational, and entertaining all at the same time. I especially like that it encourages pretend play instead of simply being something a child watches or listens to.
Another thing I appreciate is that there are multiple ways to play with it. If he gets tired of the songs, he can explore the numbers or animal sounds. If he wants pretend play, he can use the phone. Having different activities helps keep it interesting and gives the toy more longevity than some toddler toys that only do one thing.
Overall, I’m very impressed with this musical phone booth and would absolutely recommend it. It’s entertaining enough to keep a toddler interested while giving them opportunities to practice numbers, sounds, communication, pretend play, and early learning skills. It’s a really cute toy that combines fun and education in a way that feels natural for little ones.
Definitely a 5-star toddler toy and a great gift idea for a little boy or girl!
Really fun but quality is just okay.
My one year old (and my 4 year old) adore this toy. They had a lot of fun hitting all the different buttons and playing all the various songs. They get a huge kick out of talking and recording themselves on it. I like that there’s a volume adjustment because initially, it was incredibly loud, but it’s fine on the low volume mode. The cord doesn’t really work on ours but we don’t feel like it’s needed anyway so we threw that piece out. Be aware though – the coins are very borderline too small for most one year olds. They were immediately in my baby’s mouth and I felt more comfortable taking them away. I don’t want him to choke on them because they are much smaller than pictured. I think the quality of this toy is just okay. It’s held up to being stepped on by my baby, but it still feels like a fairly lightweight plastic and given not quite all the pieces work the best (like the speaker on the handheld phone), I just can’t call it great quality. It’s mediocre. I was between a 3 and 4 star rating, however, it does so much and has so many modes, I feel it deserves that 4th star just barely. For $40, I would feel it’s overpriced but it was listed about $30, I think that’s very reasonable. Overall, I’m happy we have it but I wouldn’t ever pay full price for it given what I know now.
