so cute
couldn’t be happier with this The camera arrived well-packaged, was exactly as described, and the quality exceeded my expectations.
After using it for a while, I can honestly say it performs reliably and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. It’s easy to use, feels well-made, and it is a cute addition to my keychain and great for capturing photos of my baby because sometimes mom brain makes me forget my phone at home!!
setup was straightforward take it out of the box. attach the wrist string and the keychain attachment power on and click away I loved everything worked right out of the box. Overall, this has been an excellent value for the price, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a cute little addition to their keychain, it’d be perfect for children I’m going to be purchasing again for a Christmas present for my brother. he would love this little camera
here’s a photo to show how small it is it’s not heavy at all
I’ll admit, this mini camera initially felt a bit gimmicky since my smartphone already takes excellent photos and videos. However, I clipped it to my lanyard for a recent hiking trip in Utah, and it turned out to be more useful than I expected. It was incredibly convenient to grab for a quick picture without having to pull out and unlock my phone every time.
The camera is tiny, lightweight, and easy to carry, yet it still captures both photos and 1080P video. The color screen makes it simple to frame shots and review what you’ve taken. It worked especially well for capturing spontaneous moments on the trail, and the clip-on design kept it secure and within easy reach. The controls are straightforward, so just about anyone should have no trouble using it.
I also like that it is rechargeable via USB-C and includes an 8GB card, charging cable, lanyard, and a keychain clip. It comes with everything needed to start using it right out of the box, and transferring files to a computer is easy.
I would recommend the MiniPix as a fun supplement to a smartphone or nicer camera—not necessarily a replacement:) It is perfect for casual adventures, travel, school events, or anytime you want a small, screen-free way to capture memories on the fly. Highly recommended!
Good pictures and such a fun little camera to hang on your bag!
We really love this cute little thing! It’s crazy small but that’s the point!
I laughed when I opened the box but I know that it’s trendy right now and my teens think it’s super fun!
And who knew, but It really takes good pictures!!
I gave it 5 stars because it really does what it says and it’s just a cool item in general. This will not replace my DSLR so I’m not serious about the quality but it really is better than expected.
I’m not going to enlarge these photos and hang them on my wall but they are so much better than you think!
Having the camera as a keychain and hanging it on your bag/purse/backpack is pretty cool and easy to grab for a quick pic. Easy for kids to use, too, because it has an actual screen AND takes video! Easily turn flash on and off and simple button for quick snaps.
Comes with an 8 GB SD card, the accessories for hanging it and it was delivered charged so we could start playing with it right away.
A great novelty item, fun for a stocking or a little gift.
The reason I got this is because I’m terrible at taking pictures with my phone. Sadly, I’m usually too lazy to dig my phone out, turn it on, get the camera app turned on and click the photo. Yes, I know, I’m whining. Anyway, I’m planning to clip this onto my daypack so I can take a quick picture without all the hassle.
So, how good good are the pictures? Here’s an indoor picture of my dog taken with my Galaxy A23 phone, and one taken with the Minipix while standing in the same spot. Obviously, the A23 picture is a lot better, as expected. The third example is a picture of my backyard showing its outdoor prowess. Again, okay for capturing a moment, but not good if you want a spectacular picture of a mountain or a sunset. A few more pictures are included showing mediocre quality. One star off. The minipix is using a 16:9 ratio while the A23 is 4:3. The camera actually has quite a few features: it can take video and audio, apply a few filters, and if you take out the sd card it comes up on your computer as a web cam with acceptible image quality. The only down side of having features is that you access them using only 4 buttons (M, camera, up, and down), so you have to remember how to access the features through a variety of long and short button presses. Not a big problem, especially if you’re like me and just want to take pictures.
Awesome mini camera
This is a really fun little camera. I was shocked by how little it is, and I think it’s far superior to the other trendy keychain cameras that are on the market right now. Unlike other keychain cameras, this one has a functioning digital display (instead of an optical viewfinder). I appreciate that this camera came with a memory card already in it, so I was able to start running around taking photos and videos with it right away. It is comically small and lightweight, but delivers photos of quality that are comparable with most mid tier cell phones. I had a blast taking photos with this camera, and I’ll honestly reach for this camera over my cell phone camera any day (because it’s lighter to carry and looks very funny). They say the best camera for photography is the one you always carry with you, and with how lightweight this keychain camera is there’s no reason not to carry this thing with you. It’s also very fast to turn this camera on, so it’s great for capturing moments quickly. For not so serious photography, or for children to have fun and play with, this camera is an excellent little toy.
I love this compact and convenient tiny keychain camera. It’s perfect for quick pictures on the go, and the included 8GB card and USB-C charging make it super easy to use and transfer files. Great pocket-sized gadget! I ordered a similar on awhile back, and my 9-year-old confiscated it – as he does. He has so much fun with it, I couldn’t bring myself to take it back. Needless to say. when I saw this one, I knew I had to have it. It’s crazy how such a small device can work like a regular-sized camera. The instructions aren’t great, and the picture quality isn’t amazing, but it’s pretty good considering the size and price. Definitely recommended.
This camera is unbelievably tiny. About the size of a stove knob and somehow has a full color screen, flash, speaker, SD card slot, physical shutter button, power button, and up down navigation. It is a complete digital camera in a package that fits in a small jeans pocket.
Image quality is roughly on par with early 2000s digital cameras which is exactly what you should expect and plenty good for kids learning to shoot. My elementary schoolers have spent hours photographing everything in the house and treating it like a real camera because it essentially is one.
A USB-C to micro card adapter lets them pull the photos up on a tablet to review their shots, which they love. That review process part of the fun and mildly educational. They start thinking about what worked and what did not.
I consider this essentially screen free in the sense that it keeps them engaged with the physical world rather than consuming content. Good cheap entry point into photography before investing in anything more serious. If your kid likes coloring there is a good chance they will also take to this, the same attention to detail that makes a kid good at coloring tends to show up in how they frame a shot.
