Great value
For the price, this can’t be beat. Do yourself a favor and buy a decent tripod. I own two scopes and they both come with horrible tripods. When you are trying to line up the scope with your target, it is a major pain with these little tripods as they don’t provide any fine adjustment capability.
This Scope is a 20-75×60 and my other is a 25-70×70. Didn’t realize the different between the two for zoom capability as my 70 can zoom much closer but this scope is absolutely worth it. What I really liked about this scope is that it is considerably smaller than my big one and weighs less. To use this scope, use a standing tripod as the eyepiece is straight out and not angled upward. For me, this is not an issue as I use an eye piece camera that wirelessly connects to my iPad/iPhone. This does include a camera holder which I did use and it actually works very well. I had to put a washer in between the holder and the eyepiece to get it to line up correctly. Once connected, it worked perfect. Since my vision is not great close up, I prefer the iPad for size which is why I use the eye piece camera instead.
The exterior has a very nice texture. Almost like a truck bed liner. The covers are nice rubber. The front has a rubber connector to hold the cover whereas the back (eye piece) does not. It mounts on the tripod very easily. Once of the nice features of this scope is that once you mount your phone, you can adjust the zoom without tilting the phone. My other scope rotates the entire eyepiece when zooming which requires me to adjust the camera each time.
In the photos, the image of the flag is at 92 yards. The flag was moving causing some ghosting in the image. One is at the 20 zoom and the other at 75. The target was at 50 yards using an open sight 22. Yes… I’m not the best. 🙂
Image quality is very good for the price. Very easy to setup. Has decent weight and feel. Nice zoom. Must use a tripod to mount high enough to visually see since the eyepiece is not angled upward.
