This rating is based on price and the overall quality of sound. I’m using this vibeadio soundbar with my desktop computer using Linux Mint 22.3 and I control EQ and effects with Easy Effects app. So far, after getting bluetooth connection working, it is not a bad soundbar. In other words, at the moment, I’m NOT determined to get rid of it because I find it to be a piece of junk. Someone mentioned in a review that bass is non-existent and sound is very low. Well, I’m not experiencing low volume bass and overall sound. I find that this vibeadio soundbar needs an equalizer to maximize the best sound quality, including eliminating too much bass and adjusting sound to make it most palpable to listen to. Actually, bass is not terrible, but it isn’t great either. And obviously, buyers of this soundbar know ahead of time that this vibeadio soundbar is not going to sound as good as a $500 or more JBL, Sony, Bose, etc. Rarely, is there something that is inexpensive to buy punches above it’s weight as far as quality and performance. If I were unable to EQ it, I would not be using it. I have looked for a better soundbar but am I willing to pay $150-$500 or more. Maybe $150-$250, but at the same time, there are bad reviews for more expensive soundbars that make me wonder if it’s worth draining my wallet for something that will end up not sound like it’s worth the more expensive price. So, I’m thinking that I’ll just live with this vibeadio soundbar for a while and see where I stand 6 month to a year from now. In the end, in my opinion, it’s about the budget and how important sound quality is to the buyer. I also own JBL monitor speakers that cost $200 each years ago, which I also used to listen to music and they did a great job–crisp, clean, and sufficient bass to enjoy. If you want crisp, clean, and good base, then don’t buy this vibeadio soundbar because you will be disappointed. If sound quality is that important to you then move on to JBL, Sony, Bose, etc. because this vibeadio soundbar is not a miracle soundbar that will give top quality sound for under $100.
Overall, this sound bar and subwoofer are a great option. Easy to set up and the sound quality is excellent. The subwoofer is truly “powerful” and at both high and low volume there is a clean delivery of bass and treble audio. From my testing, the frequency range appears to be 20-20,000 Hz. I was looking for a sound bar and subwoofer to compliment my movie night projector setup and by being able to connect via Bluetooth with ease, this really “blue” me away. Bad puns aside, you should look no further and purchase with confidence.
I just received this soundbar and got it set up today. One of the things I appreciated most was how simple the installation process was. I connected it to my TV using the HDMI ARC port, and it worked almost immediately without any complicated setup or troubleshooting.
The sound quality is a huge improvement over my TV’s built-in speakers. Voices are much clearer, and the subwoofer adds a nice depth to movies and shows. I tested it with a few different types of content, and everything sounded fuller and more immersive.
I also like that the soundbar has a clean, compact design that doesn’t take up much space. The wireless subwoofer paired easily and gives the system a true home theater feel.
This product surpassed my expectations! For the price, you cant do much better. The ONLY thing I would like is if it had some kind of digital screen to let you know what input your using and what volume you’re at. But the quality of the sound is great! You definitely get your bang for your buck on this product. I originally bought it for a basement TV where the speakers on that TV were horrible and distorted. I was so impressed with the quality of the sound from this product after connecting it to this TV, that I immediately bought a second one for one of my TV’s upstairs!
