Nice metal set. The needles are stored on a nice, sturdy, but lightweight covered board; The wires and other odd bits are in a small plastic bag; and the entire ensemble is stored in a flocked pleather envelope, well stitched. I like the feel of the needles, but some fibers will be very slippery on them. I am happy with the price for the quality of the product.

Great needle set. Perfect for those small, circular projects- sleeves etc. Tips screw on easy, cables don’t kink, size-swapping mid-project is faster than finding my place in the pattern again. Tips don’t screw off constantly and they are not too sharp. Have to say this set is Awesome!
Got a set of the pink needles and used them under a table lamp. No glare! A finish that is truly matte and easy on the eyes. Like the gunmetal gray set, they have a wide range of sizes and knit beautifully with every yarn I have tried. These have a unique finish that is wonderful. It was worth the learning curve to use metal shorties like these.

This was surprisingly better than I expected it to be? I definitely didn’t look too closely at the picture so I had no clue it came in the pink clutch bag. I’ve been debating getting shorties for a while now to work sleeves and baby sweaters now for a while but didn’t want to pull the trigger on a 100+ chiagoo set for a few needles. I came across these while looking for other circular knitting needles and immediately liked the pink color and the reasonable price. I got mine on sale for $30.00. The pink needles are much darker in person than they are in photos – in photos they seem more baby pink, but they were a dark mauve pink in person, which doesn’t bother me because I like the color they came in as well. The cable joints do not rotate on these needles. I haven’t had any issues with the actual cable unscrewing while working though, I just make sure to tighten with the pin as tight as possible. The cables are also pink! The kit comes with other nice supplies that are pretty standard in most of these sets, but the spare crochet hooks were a really nice bonus/addition! They’re mini as well and come in sizes 3 mm, 4mm, and 5mm. The colors in the picture are pretty accurate to the actual color of the crochet hooks. The mat on the inside that holds all the hooks/needles is also nice and sturdy and hard. The clutch is super cute too and comes with a handle and is a true to baby pink color like the photos. Overall, I’m SUPER pleased with these needles! I haven’t knit any sleeves with them yet, but I’ve been using the 5mm on the second to smallest cable to knit a baby sweater, and it’s been going great! The needles are also very lightweight. If there’s only one thing I would like, it would be the ability to buy extra cables since this comes with four which is normally enough, but since I’m the type who has a bunch of WIPs active at once, I like to have extra cables just in case. Overall though, for the $30 I spent on this, this was 1000000% worth it!!

Oh my God, I love the packaging! I bought this as a gift for my daughter, and the whole set is so cute and adorable. Everything looks nicely organized and feels like good quality.
