Stood Up to South Texas Winds
So many of these types of hose holders have spikes that are too short to keep the holder upright, especially in the South Texas wind and in our sandy soil. I am happy to say that, so far at least, this is not the case with the NQW Garden Hose Holder. My husband was able to move some of the river rocks out of the way, push the holder deep into the sandy soil, and replace the river rocks. The holder has held up to the crazy wind today, and it is currently holding 60 feet of hose. Even with about 50 feet of the hose still on the winder and the hose being full of water, the holder stood firm.
The assembly directions were easy to follow, the included Allen key hex wrench was strong enough to easily get the job done, and the tools fit perfectly to each specific piece.
It is attractive, easy to assemble, and functional. I call that a “W”.
This heavy duty hose holder has been a great addition to my outdoor space! Installation was straightforward and didn’t take much time, and once it was in place, it immediately helped clean up the entire hose area. I also really like the metal construction.. it feels sturdy and much more durable than the lightweight plastic holders I’ve used before. The hose winds up neatly and stays off the ground, making the area look much cleaner and more organized. Overall, it’s a practical, attractive solution for hose storage and definitely worth considering if you’re tired of a messy hose pile!

I’ll start with assembly. Super straight forward, only takes around 14 alan key bolts and includes the tool. The instructions were decent but honestly it would be difficult to assemble it incorrectly. The material seems sturdy enough, nothing crazy but seems like it’ll do the job. Set it up by my greenhouse to hold one of the many hoses I have throughout the yard. The spikes on the bottom go into TN rocky clay just fine and seem long enough to hold. Overall seem like a great option for storing hoses that aren’t directly by the house.
