I bought this sewing kit because I wanted something compact for simple repairs without pulling out a full size sewing machine every time. It arrived neatly packed in the wooden storage box, and I really liked how everything had its own place. It made it easy to find what I needed instead of searching through a drawer full of sewing supplies.
Over the past few weeks, I’ve used it to fix a loose shirt button, shorten the edge of a curtain, and repair a small tear in one of my reusable shopping bags. The handheld sewing machine was easy to get the hang of after a little practice, and I liked having the option to use either batteries or another power source depending on where I was working. It has been convenient for quick projects that only take a few minutes.
The storage box has also been one of my favorite parts because it keeps the needles, thread, scissors, and other accessories neatly organized. When I’m finished, everything goes right back into the box, and I can store it on a shelf without taking up much room. After using it regularly, it has become my go to kit for everyday sewing tasks around the house, and I’ve been very happy with how practical and convenient it has been.
Poor instructions
The instructions were difficult to understand and the “diagrams” are minuscule and pixilated. It says there is a lock button but there isn’t and the power button is pretty sensitive so I took the batteries out to figure out how to thread it so I wouldn’t sew myself. I had to go on TikTok and YouTube to learn how to thread it.
It came pre threaded and the note says they test it. It wasn’t threaded correctly so I have doubt. Then I couldn’t figure out why it wouldn’t run the bobbin smoothly and I switched it for another bobbin (from the kit itself) and it worked great. Original bobbin must have been misshapen somehow
Did a test run and it’s tricky to get a straight line but some practice will help. All in all it seems like a decent little machine for very simple jobs.
The wooden box is very nice and all the supplies were good too. The nice box makes this a pretty good deal, there is still room for more supplies and it looks good on my shelf.
I think this of you after A few times that I was using it. This is a great sewing machine. It really helped me to sew a few t-shirts and a jeans that had some issues.

I appreciate that the kit comes with buttons and other supplies, so I do not have to run to the store just to find a single matching button for a shirt. My crafting area is usually a disaster, so having everything in one sturdy container is a big win for my sanity. I find myself reaching for this box even when I just need to cut a piece of ribbon or check something with the tape measure. It sits on my shelf looking nice, and it makes my projects feel more professional. I like that I can take the whole box with me if I need to move to the kitchen island for better lighting. It keeps my needles and bobbins safe and away from anything that might knock them over.
