Absolutely love these pillows!
These pillows are great. In the past I have used memory foam, shredded foam and many other kinds of filling, but I can sink into these pillows, and they don’t force my neck to be crooked, or they don’t go flat.
The label (see photo) shows there is some foam, some fiber and some goose down. The result is a pillow that has allowed me to get a great nights sleep.
The outer fabric of the pillow is soft. I have not washed the pillows yet, but the label says that the pillow can be machine washed and dried.
The price of the pillows is more than I would normally pay, but, having used them, I think they’re well worth the price. The inner construction is unique, with an inner and outer chamber – the info is on the label – but I think that must be what makes this pillow so comfortable. Unless you are allergic to goose down, I highly recommend you try these pillows for a great night’s sleep.
I’ve tried plenty of pillows that describe themselves as “hotel quality,” only to discover that apparently the hotel in question has very low standards. These ELNIDO QUEEN pillows actually feel much closer to what I was hoping for. They’re soft and fluffy on the outside but still have enough structure in the center that my head doesn’t immediately sink straight through them.
The three-layer construction is what makes these different from a traditional feather pillow. The outer layers give them that plush, down-like softness, while the supportive inner layer helps the pillow maintain its shape. I like that combination because I enjoy a softer pillow but still need some support, especially when sleeping on my side or back.
They arrived vacuum packed, so they definitely weren’t at their full potential immediately after opening. I gave them a good fluffing and allowed them some time to expand, and they became noticeably fuller. If they look a little sad straight out of the package, don’t judge them during their awkward recovery period.
The outer fabric also feels smooth and comfortable, and so far I haven’t noticed feathers poking through or the pillow feeling rough underneath my pillowcase. The queen size is a generous 20 x 30 inches, and the set of two fills out my bed nicely. They have that fuller, slightly luxurious appearance that makes the bed look more inviting when it’s made.
What I appreciate most is the balance between softness and support. They have enough give to mold comfortably around my head and neck, but they also rebound instead of staying completely flattened. I can fluff them back into shape pretty easily, which is important with this style of pillow.
I would definitely recommend using pillowcases or protectors with them, and following the lower-temperature washing and drying instructions to help protect the filling.
Overall, I’m really pleased with this set. They’re plush, comfortable, nicely sized, and feel more substantial than basic inexpensive bed pillows. If you like that fluffy hotel-style feeling but don’t want a pillow that’s so soft it offers practically no support, these strike a really nice middle ground.
Comfortable enough for sleeping and fluffy enough to make the whole bed look better. Definitely a keeper.
Soft, Fluffy and Supportive Without Going Fla
I bought these king size pillows for our bed because my husband and I wanted something softer than memory foam but still supportive enough that we would not wake up with completely flat pillows. They arrived vacuum packed, but after opening them and giving them a good fluff, they filled out nicely and looked full inside our king pillowcases. The outer material feels smooth and comfortable, and I like that I have not noticed feathers poking through the fabric. I am mostly a side sleeper while my husband moves between his side and back, and the pillows have been comfortable for both of us because they compress nicely without feeling like our heads sink all the way through. The three layer construction seems to give them a good balance between the fluffy feel of feather and down and the support you normally get from a firmer pillow. They also bounce back well after sleeping on them, and a quick fluff in the morning brings them right back to shape. The king size is generous at 20 by 36 inches and fills out our bedding nicely, giving the bed that full hotel style appearance. I also appreciate that they are breathable and do not feel overly warm during the night. For a set of two, the overall comfort, size, quality, and supportive feel make these a good value, especially if you like a soft hotel style pillow that still has some structure.
I am hard to please when it comes to pillows, and my favorite ones were recently discontinued. I have been on a mission to find a new one that I love so much. I recently ordered this set of two goose feather down fiber pillows in the queen size. This is a set of two from the brand, Elnido. We have 2 other bedding products from this brand and they are really nice. These pillows are incredible. They arrived fully compressed and vacuum sealed. They were so flat when I opened them, and so many products like this don’t fully expand so I was a bit skeptical. Once opened, they expanded somewhat but not enough that I felt reassured. There were no included instructions, so I went back and looked at the listing. There are instructions there that share to fluff lightly to bring to shape. I followed these instructions and voila! They took on a very fluffy shape immediately and only got better from there. These are seriously such nice pillows. They feather the goose feather down, but have memory foam in the middle, and an anti-shedding design that helps to contain the feathers and prevent them from poking through. Once they sat, fluffed for the day, my husband and I immediately started using them. We did not leave them to sit and expand over longer than the day, and it wasn’t necessary. There was also no smell at all that needed to air out before use. I love how comfortable these are. They are firm in the center but soft on the outside. They cradle my head and provide great support for me. They re-expand and return to their original shape once I stop laying on them and they fluff up really well. The outside fabric is really nice, skin-friendly and moisture wicking. These feel great to the touch. These pillows are absolutely luxurious and I love them so much! I appreciate that they are washable but I’m not sure I’d ever try. We are using pillow cases with them to protect them, and also just to match the rest of our bedding. I am a side sleeper – just for the record. Price wise, for a two pack of such nice quality, soft, fluffy, and supportive pillows, they are so far absolutely worth the price and I absolutely recommend them. I’m so happy to have found new, super comfy pillows after such a prior disappointing journey! 10/10 would recommend!
Firstly, I will start out by saying that I am a pillow s.n.o.b. and have TONS of pillows in our spare bedroom, where they basically go to be unused lol. I have purchased COUNTLESS of pillows only to have them discarded by myself and put in our spare room for others to enjoy. I’m very picky about the feel, support, firmness, etc of my pillows and only a few choice pillows get the honor of gracing our bed ((on my side ofc)) lol. I’m being dramatic…..but am I really?? Lol
The background for this choosy pillow picking is from a broken c1 vertebrae that happened in 2019 ((Comcast driver plowed into me fracturing my neck.. yay for me )). Ever since then, the normal function of my neck blew right out the window, along with that car I was driving at the time of that accident, sadly. That wreck injured my neck, of course, along with my left shoulder ball joint, making it super hard for me to get comfortable in bed while I sleep. But I digress.
Anywho.
I like a pillow that is soft to lay my head on, but had an underlying firmness and support that will cradle my neckline and shoulder. I do not like pillows that aren’t cooling, typically, and if I have to choose, I will take firmness over softness, although I always want both lol. When I seen these pillows available, I somewhat snuffed my nose at them because I never get my hopes up about pillows – like ever. I’m so used to being disappointed, regardless of price and hype around pillows, so I go into it with a very negative attitude typically lol.
I will say, taking these out of the packaging, I was NOT impressed whatsoever. These poor pillows reminded me of ones I used to buy when I was in college at Target that were $9.99 for TWO because I was a broke college student lol. They were limp, thin, and had no structure straight out of the package. I felt pretty good walking away because I just knew I was right yet again and they were crappy pillows. My husband and I went to dinner totally forgetting about these dumb pillows. We came back and I went into our bedroom to slide into my jammies and I noticed these “dumb” pillows had expanded into pretty, little puff-like clouds lol. Before even getting undressed, I picked one up asap to feel anddddd to my surprise – these felt like heaven in my hands lol. I laid it back down, got undressed, and took one into the spare bedroom by myself to see if I would be proven wrong and mannnn was I wrong lol. After I laid down on the bed with this pillow after relaxing for 5 or 10 minutes, I ran back into our bedroom and claimed these both as mine. He doesn’t get to enjoy these glorious pillows!! I’m the one that has neck/shoulder issues anyway right?!?!! Lol tbh, I really would have let him have one, but he saw how much I enjoyed these & he declined ((I knew I married him for a reason)).
These pillows are amazing and exactly what I want in a pillow. I didn’t know I could have the perfect pillow, until I tried these honestly. These are soft, fluffy, have amazing support under all the softness, and my head is fully supported when using these pillows. Are they expensive? Yes, they surely are BUT these aren’t the most expensive pillows I’ve purchased and they collect dust in the spare lol. These pillows actually fit the saying “you get what you pay for”, and not alot of products these days can fall into that category anymore. I tend to sleep on my back, but if I’m being honest, I twist and turn all night long & these pillows support me in every position possible. I typically veered away from goose or feather pillows because I was stabbed in the head many of times as a child, since that’s all my parents bought us kids. These do not do that at all, at this point anyway. Maybe after they get super worn down, they could possibly, but as of right now, I feel nothing but fluff and comfort.
If you play the Goldie Locks role when it comes to pillows, super picky about what your head lays on at night, or anything I said resignates within yourself – I would HIGHLY suggest trying these pillows. They’ve been a game changer for my sleep quality & I will hands down be repurchasing these again once they have outlived their lives with us. 10 out of 10
I bought 4 pillows. The first ones were fabulous, fluffy and full. When I received the second set they were flat, no fluff and not full. I had to get a replacement. The replacement was great. I recommend the pillows, just be aware you might have to exchange.
