I absolutely love this Indian wall hanging! I have an old home that was built in the 1850s, so needless to say, some of my walls have issues. I have found that beautiful, dramatic fabric tapestries are a great way to cover those imperfections while also adding character to the rooms, and this one is perfect for that.
The artwork is gorgeous, with the Shrinathji-inspired design, arches, lotus flowers, palm trees, cows, and beautiful combination of soft blue, blush pink, cream, red, and touches of gold. It has a really lovely traditional feel without being overwhelming.
It is a generous 9 x 6 feet, so it covers a substantial amount of wall space and makes quite a statement. The polyester fabric is lightweight and easy to handle, and it comes with a hanging rope, which makes putting it up pretty straightforward. It also folds easily for storage when not in use.
I’m using mine primarily as a wall covering rather than a festival backdrop, and it works beautifully for that purpose.
