First impression: wow.
Last impression: still wow—but with a raised eyebrow at the price.
This leather portfolio organizer is genuinely beautiful. The embossed leather is rich, elegant, and absolutely eye-catching. I actually own an iPad case in a similar style and was hoping this would be just as stunning and it definitely delivered on that front. If you adore embossed leather (which is totally valid, because it’s gorgeous), this will make your heart happy.
The construction feels solid all around. The leather, structure, and zippers all feel high quality and durable. Storage-wise, it’s very well thought out:
A huge exterior pocket that easily fits a standard notebook
Inside, one side has multiple card slots, a small pocket, both small and large zippered pockets, plus a fully padded pocket that runs the length of the side—perfect for an iPad or tablet
The other side is one giant pocket that can hold quite a bit
My only minor gripe is that the portfolio is pretty stiff (which speaks to quality, honestly). Slipping loose papers into the large pockets can be a little awkward at first—they tend to crinkle before sliding in—but it’s an easy issue to work around.
All that said, after doing a bit of searching online, I don’t personally think it’s worth the current $120 price tag unless you’re really in love with the look and feel of the embossed leather. It’s a really nice portfolio—just priced more like a luxury splurge than a practical buy.
Beautiful? Absolutely.
Well made? Without question.
Worth $120? Depends how much that leather makes your heart flutter.
