I shoot weddings and elopements and keep an instant camera in the bag for the couple, not for me. Something they can hold ten minutes after they say yes. The Mini 13 works for that because you can hand it to anyone, twist the lens to turn it on, exposure sets itself, ease of use is the whole point. Reliability has been fine too, no misfeeds or jams across the packs I have run through it, and it’s soooo cute and fun.
Quality of the prints is that soft warm instant look, bright and forgiving on skin rather than accurate, and the close up mode has a parallax window so selfies actually land. Picture size is the credit card format, small enough that people put them in a wallet and keep them there. Dreamy purple is a muted lavender with a matte finish, better in person than on screen. I’m absolutely in love with this model and the colors it produces.
Price-wise, there is real extra price here for the accessories in this listing, but they are all worth it. Of those, the camera case is the one worth having: nice PU leather, holds its shape, comfortable strap. The bead album is a novelty and absolutely super cute I was impressed.
The Instax Mini 13 is easy to enjoy because there really is not much of a learning curve. It is designed for casual photography, and that is part of the appeal. The photos have that familiar instant film look that feels completely different from taking another picture with a phone.

Very cool. I appreciate it includes the two AA batteries. Once the batteries are in you are good to go. I was holding it sideways and realized you hold it long way since the photos all come in vertical mode. It doesn’t really do well landscape so you are likely only able to do selfies with 2 maybe 3 people. The mirror and view finders sets up the shot well and the pictures came out as expected from looking at the mirror in front. The pictures I took came out good and each picture was reliably processed and full exposure was good. There are two packs of two packs of 10. I was a little confused at the two boxes but when I opened it I saw the two packs inside so the quantity is good.
The accessories I feel like are nice but not sure if it’s worth the add on. The case fits the camera perfectly of course and the strap feels kinda thin and almost like a large version of the strap already on the camera so there is this double strap look. The photo book is also adequate and fits the photos well but nothing out of what you can get from Walmart or any other store. For the convenience of everything you would need it is helpful to get a bundle if you wanted everything now but you can definitely piece mail a better set or one you would like for less.

I got this Instax Mini 13 camera in Lagoon Green as a gift for my daughter. You can see the size of it next to my Instax Mini 12. The shade of mint is beautiful. It’s a little darker than pastel and the curved surface of the camera makes it look interesting.
I would highly recommend putting it into the leather case provided as the camera’s finish scratches very easily. You can see the little scratches that appeared after I unintentionally slid the camera on the floor a couple of inches.
Besides the faux leather case, this camera also comes with a hand strap, photo album, 40 pcs of film and two Duracell batteries. They’re all well made and I’m very satisfied with the quality of everything provided.
I think the Instax Mini 13 camera takes a slightly cooler shade of photo as compared with my Mini 12. It focuses well indoors and outside. The film provided does not expire until 2028.
For $160, this is a wonderful set that you can use immediately right out of the box. The available colors are trendy and make me happy just looking at them. I know my daughter will have so much fun taking photos of her and her friends. Five stars for sure!

There’s something special about the little 90-second wait between pressing the shutter and holding a real photo in your hand. That anticipation is still my favorite part of using an Instax camera. It makes everyday moments feel a little more memorable, whether I’m taking pictures with friends, saving a quick snapshot from a weekend outing, or simply documenting ordinary life.
The Mini 13 has a noticeably rounder, almost “puffy” design that feels comfortable and easy to grip. The Dreamy Purple color is soft but playful, and it definitely gets attention when I take it out. The size is just right for one-handed use, and the rotating lens power switch has a satisfying click between settings.
The new selfie timer is probably my favorite upgrade. Being able to choose between 2 and 10 seconds makes group photos and full-body shots much easier. Instead of stretching my arm out and hoping everyone fits, I can set the camera on a table or use the included angle-adjustment accessory, start the timer, and step into the frame. The built-in selfie mirror is still useful for getting the composition right, especially for close-up selfies.
