Saves me so much time compared to a manual crank. this is a heavy tool, it has weight to it. opens scans well, with speed. the edges of the can can be sharp, but comes with opening cans. hasnt been eating through batteries yet. i am very very happy with my tool
Best Money Spent. I have purchased so many can openers in my life and without fail, they always stop rotating making it impossible to open cans. I saw this opener and the reviews so I thought “Why not”. What’s one more opener that may end up not working well or hurting my hands as I use it. Upon receiving this bad boy, I popped 4 AA batteries in it and pulled a can from the pantry. Placed it on top and pressed the button and watched in amazement that it worked and worked well! Once it made it way around the top of my can, I pushed the button to release it and voila! I had a lid with smooth edges and a can that was open with ease. I didn’t find it hard to put batteries in it. Just have to be intentional putting them in the way they go. All I can say is, I am not mad at myself for this purchase.
Excellent can opener! I bought this for my 94 year old Mother who sometimes has trouble opening things and using manual can openers. It is so simple to use, just set it on top of the can and press the button. You don’t need to hold it or guide it, just press the button again once it goes all around to stop it and pop off the lid. It also cuts the lids on the outside so there are no sharp edges. Would definitely recommend and will be buying another for myself.
Amazingly easy to use
I got this because my arthritic hands were hurting even trying to use an electric can opener I have had for years. I don’t know yet how long it will last but it is definitely making me happy now. I just put it on the can as instructed and push a button and it does the job. I also like the lack of sharp edges of tin. It is a clean cut and so so easy. I wish I had bought sooner. Also it doesn’t take up counter space. It fits easily in a drawer.
This is the best can opener that 1 have ever used. Its is hands free, but small enough to store in a drawer. It has a smooth operation and is very safe as it is both hands free and leaves a smooth edge on the can and lid. The battery compartment is easy and quick to open, and the product feels durable. I highly recommend it.
It works on most cans. It does not work on small tomato paste cans. Also if the paper is too high on the can edge it won’t work unless you peel the paper down a tad. It is very loud. This is my first one so I have nothing to compare it to. Otherwise it gets the job done.
