Easy to manage
Replaced bed for the kids because they never watered. They don’t have a sprinkler system. This covered the bed. Used a timer, and the beds have been good for a year so far.
This system was easy to install, and the timer works well. The documentation was clearly not written by someone fluent in English. This makes things interesting if you have questions about things like, “Do I need to add a backflow preventer or is it built in?” It will leak at connections to the faucet, and the check valves leak a little bit. The tape included in the kit makes it easy to take care of the connections to the faucet. No problem. With the check valves, I recommend just having those on the edge of the bed and count it as bonus watering. This is much better for plant health than hand watering. If you want consistent watering, I highly recommend a drip irrigation system and this is a terrific way to get started.
Great little watering system
Love this. For anyone who has a garden or plants and travels, or just doesn’t want to have to worry about watering every day. It’s programmable so you can set the time and for how long. There’s actually three different settings so you can water up to three different times. Comes with plenty of steaks and watering sprayers. I ordered extra tubing only because my plants at the far end were not getting enough water. There is two out let’s so I used both, so the farther plants were on a separate line. Plants are now watered without any worries.
I have the absolute worst brown thumb, I can’t keep plants or a garden alive because I forget to water them. This takes the guess work out of it and helps with my forgetfulness. My garden and flowers have stayed alive! Easy installation.
The only complaint which really isn’t necessarily a complaint is that the beginning part of the line has quite a bit of pressure and even trying to turn it down or closing off a section in the very first spot doesn’t really work. That first section soaks those plants while the rest mists the plants. So that is my only complaint. My solution would be to put the first section on plants that need the most water or really like wet soil. It covers my whole small vegetable garden and into my flower beds.
