Drop the aluminum stick into the water, twist on a regular -inch hose, pop in a spare Milwaukee pack and you’re pumping in seconds. Flow is stout, easily 10-plus gallons per minute, and it lifted water eight feet up to the lawn without sputter. Slim barrel reaches places a normal sump just can’t. Threaded outlet seals tight, no leaks. After three barrels the housing was only lukewarm, so motor efficiency seems good. Great value tool everyone with M18 gear should owns.

Very nice water transfer pump and works very well for various projects you may have around the home or property. I’ve used it to drain our small pond and have also use it to transfer water out of our hot tub as well and works great and is quick and easy to use! Good little pump with a couple issues.
This pump works as advertised, but there a couple things to be aware of. First it does not have a sealed battery compartment, so you can’t use it in the rain or where it might get splashed. Second, there is a battery charge indicator that stays on all the time after you connect the battery, so you cannot leave the battery in it while you’re not using it. Neither of these are showstoppers but you need to be aware of them before you buy it. The pump does work very well and seems to hit the advertised flow rate. For the price this is not a bad pump at all.
