I am still amazed that this cart cover folds so compactly yet is quite sturdy when unfolded. It has plenty of straps to keep it securely in place, plus there is a strap to keep baby in place too. I would never leave baby unattended, of course, but it does help to have her strapped in. Normally I gravitate toward light colors, but in this case I purposely chose the purple color because it seemed like it wouldn’t show the dirt. Maybe I didn’t need to go purple because the water-resistant fabric successfully repels all sorts of liquids baby spills. In any case, the cart cover looks good even after much use and quite a few spills. It is well made and sturdy. And the purple fabric is cute. If I were designing the cart cover, I would have made the thigh padding flaps a bit wider since baby seems to move her legs everywhere. Each flap is 3 3/8″ wide by 5 1/4″ long. But that is a small quibble when this cart cover works so well. It even comes with a shoulder strap for convenient carrying. The cart cover makes a long shopping day so much easier.
Versatile design to keep baby safe and secure.
I’m very pleased with the ChilLlike Shopping cart cover. It arrived quickly and was packaged in a nice firm box and then enclosed in a plastic cover. As soon as I opened it, I could see that it looked exactly as advertised. It is well made and designed well.
Pros:
1. The quality looked excellent as soon as I took it out of the plastic cover.
Its very versatile. The 2-in-1 design Is a great idea. You can go from shopping cart to restaurant high chair in the
same trip!
2, It is soft, and looks well made and the straps look very secure. Fabric is soft and colorful.
3. The color is purple-ish and is bright and cheerful.
4. Its a great value, in my opinion. I have 5 great grandchildren with a 6th on the way and it will definitely come in handy when they are here.
5. It seems like it will provide a nice clean barrier, which is especially reassuring.
None we put it to use and it worked great! I really can’t think of anything that would cause concern at this time.
All in all, I’m really happy with the product and would highly recommend it. I love that it carries like a shoulder bag and looks like it will make shopping and much easier and safer experience.

Much More Than Just a Shopping Cart Cove
I’ve been really impressed with this shopping cart and high chair cover. I’ve used plenty of baby products that sound great in the description but don’t quite live up to what they claim, and this one actually feels thoughtfully designed for real-life errands with a baby.
I really like that it works for both shopping carts and restaurant high chairs. Being able to use one cover for both is convenient because those are two of the places where I’m most conscious of what my baby is touching. It creates a nice barrier between the baby and the cart or high chair, and it stays securely in place rather than feeling like you’re constantly having to adjust it.
The cushioning is probably one of my favorite features. The seat has that soft, nest-like feel, and there’s extra padding around the legs that makes the whole thing feel much more comfortable than sitting directly against a hard shopping cart seat. I can definitely see this being especially nice for longer grocery trips when the baby is sitting there for a while.
The water-resistant fabric is another practical detail I appreciate. It isn’t something I would consider completely spill-proof, but liquids do bead up on the surface instead of immediately soaking into the fabric, which gives you time to wipe up a spill. With babies and snacks, drinks, and little messes, that makes a big difference. Where Was This When I Needed It Raising My Own Kids ??
Whenever my grandkids stop by — for a short visit so I can help their parents’ run errands, or for a weekend family get together — we’re always hitting the road. And every time I place one of those little guys or gals in the shopping cart, I felt the same nervousness. I’d always wash the cart as well as I could but let’s be honest: those things have been places you can’t even imagine. It wasn’t until I stumbled upon a product like this that I even knew something like it was available, and in an instant, I thought, what a fantastic product. It made me feel so much better about bringing my grandkids shopping with me and having a safe, comfortable place to sit on wheels. My daughter-in-law also brought to my mind something I hadn’t realized I’d never really considered were restaurant highchairs. Since, on average, fifteen other children before mine have temporarily inhabited that highchair, sneezed on it, cried and dribbled down it, and rubbed their faces all overyou get the idea. This cover provides a clean and padded seat for my grandkids to sit in so we can have dinner together. One of those small conveniences that is crucial in comfort.
The quality of the product itself is excellent. The padding is quite thick and comfortable in addition to providing additional support around the thighs to prevent those little red marks that appear after a longer journey. Having the water-resistant outer layer is an invaluable feature it keeps spills on the surface allowing tidying to be a swift and pain free process. I’m also very impressed with the fact that it folds into a small bag that can be used as a crossbody bag with a built-in shoulder strap when you need both hands free, for example carrying a stroller and two other children, a wallet and a massive shopping list. The oversized pocket is another feature I find particularly useful, providing plenty of room for all those essentials like wipes, nappies, snacks and of course my mobile.
What was most surprising to me was how much peace of mind I felt about this. It’s one of those items that a solution to a problem you weren’t quite sure you had. The kids seem content and secure, as if they are sitting in a little warm nest. I love the fact that I can forego lugging around a large diaper bag on short trips because I only need to use the small pocket. It is light, easily rolls up, and doesn’t take up space in the car things you don’t appreciate in the beginning.
To be honest, I wish we had something like this when my own children were young. Nice, soft foam, quality fabric, cute as heck, lots of safety features (velcro, buckles, etc.), and sized appropriately for smaller babies that need support and larger babies (like mine) that can hold themselves upright, but can sometimes….just randomally throw themselves to the side.
This is very lightweight and portable. I included a photo to show how it took me like…1 second to fold it and velcro it shut and how it fits in 1 hand. It weighs almost nothing.
Seriously kicking myself for not getting one of these around the 4-6m mark. I used to hurt my back and shoulders baby wearing around the stores because she “wasn’t ready” for the cart basket. She’s barely under 1 now, and has total head/neck/balance control but she still likes to fling herself around the basket and twist and turn and make a racket. We’re getting into size 3 diapers. I wanna say 15lbs? She is small for her age, but twice as agile, and at least 4 times as angry. So fingers crossed this will continue to fit her for at least 6 more months. Momma needed the assist real bad. This does fit into my ancient (totally not up to current standards) high chair, but this is pretty much exclusively used for grocery carts. Had I gotten this during that 4-6m period I would have loved having this for our wagon walks too because she was too small/floppy for that until much closer to 7-8m.
Nicely Made But Wish It Covered The Handle
The purple color and design of this shopping cart cover is very pretty in person. My favorite feature is that it is portable and can be carried like a purse with the attached strap. The material is soft and it has a small amount of padding to help the cover feel more comfortable. It is very versatile and I have been able to use it on a shopping cart, high chair, and park swing. It is easy to put on with one hand and the buckle stays securely on too. I do wish that it was a little wider on the shopping cart. It doesn’t cover the shopping cart handle. Overall, the quality is good and the cover is sewn nicely.
