A circus for your yard that will amaze all the critters!
This 92″ pole has a lot going on. I imagine the critters that it is going to attract will give many many hours of amusement. The pole is made out of a thick metal but I am not sure how it will do once you hang something on all 4 hooks. The bird house is solid pine. The instructions are easy to understand. The bird house can be mounted on the top of the pole or on the side at the top of the pole. The pole goes in the ground with 4 smaller metal anchors. To ensure that this pole will not fall or lean once it’s holding the 2 trays for water and food and hanging stuff on the 4 hooks I would make sure you stabilize it in the ground however it would work best for you. There is a baffle to deter squirrels but if you have squirrels like I do the baffle will only make them more resourceful. I fought them for months to keep them off my bird feeders but nothing worked. So as the old saying goes if you can’t beat them join them. So I joined the local peanut farm and now have squirrels houses, squirrel feeders, and squirrel bathers. So im excited to see if this will be like a circus for them with a hummingbird feeder on one hook, hanging flower on another, wind chime on one and a solar candle on the last one. All in all if this pole stands the test of time for the whole summer and doesn’t fall over or fall apart into pieces it is well worth the price. The bird house has to be built and it comes with all parts and needed tools to assemble it. The bird house is weather guard proofed it says. I will update if needed.

This is an awesome bird feeder stand. It’s actually pretty tall, even when driven into the ground. The soil at my house is on the drier side and is kind of hard, so I used a mallet and a 2×4 to help drive it into the ground which bent the lateral support stakes a bit, but not enough to cause a problem. You can adjust and swap the different arms/dishes that come with it, so you can use them all or fewer if you like. You can also change which ones sit on top or bottom. I haven’t mounted a bird house to the pole yet, as I have heard that you shouldn’t mount a bird house near active bird feeders, so I’m not sure if it’s super well designed in that regard. The squirrel guard seems to work pretty well since it wobbles back and forth and slides up the pole if pushed from underneath. Went together easy and has held up pretty well through heavy winds and thunderstorms, as well as a good number of pudgy pigeons.

Tall bird feeder pole with the ability to install a bird house on top. Surprisingly sturdy when put together. When it first arrived I was a little skeptical that this pole would be sturdy. It comes in multiple sections that once screwed together form a fairly sturdy pole. Four of the prongs that go into the ground are a bit thinner that I would have liked. There is the main center prong that is thicker. You will need to be careful setting this in place and if you have hard soil like I do, will need to tap in the base slowly and evenly. Once in the ground, the pole was very sturdy. I took my heaviest bird feeder filled full of seed and hung it from one of the hangars and the pole stayed perfectly upright. Installed in softer ground may require some reinforcement of the base. It comes with 4 hangars and 2 trays that can be placed in many different ways along the pole. there is a place on top of the pole where a bird house can be mounted in multiple ways. Fully assembled and stuck into the ground, the pole has a height of about 87-88″.
The first night I had this pole up, a neighborhood bear came along and inspected it. He likes to bend the feeding poles to the ground for easy access but since there we try to leave nothing out over night, he didn’t do any damage to the pole. He did manage to push down the squirrel guard to the ground though. But everything else stayed in place. I don’t think this pole is sturdy enough to survive an all out assault from a bear, but for those who don’t have to worry about such things, this might work very well.
Do expect to get some use out of this pole. If I notice issues with durability or stability, I will update this review.
Heavy duty bird feeding pole
This is very sturdy. I was worried it would be junk and bend silly but it’s not. This is very well made. I like that you have many different options from 4 hooks, basket, water bowel, the squirrel protector on the bottom the only bummer was there wasn’t a bird house for the top. I just think that having a picture with one is very misleading. And it wouldn’t have taken much to throw in a buildable quickie small kids like bird house.
I plan to put my new squirrel house on the top. The squirrel house is very large, but that is one of the good things about this feeding pole is it will support a larger size house on the top. That’s my plans. However, in my pictures, I had not built my squirrel house yet.
It’s nice because you have different options of what you can do with this thing and how you choose to use it it’s really up to you. It can be used to feed several different critters at the same time.
This is a very nice and very tallllll bird feeder pole/bird house attachment pole. It comes with easy to follow instructions and everything you need in the box to assemble the pole. Only took me about 25 min to assemble fully. And it’s all fairly simple to assemble, just a lot of screwing on pieces. This is easily at least 6ft-7ft tall if you assemble all 5 poles together. It comes with 4 adjustable hook attachments, 1 mesh basket for seeds, and one metal pan attachment for water or more food. There’s also a cone that you can attach to the pole with what’s called a “squirrel baffle nut” to prevent squirrels and other small animals from climbing up the pole. All of these pieces you can adjust freely on the pole to where you want them. It doesn’t come with a bird house and I don’t have one right this second, but it does come with some metal plates that you can use to secure a birdhouse to the top of the pole by screwing it on from the bottom of the plate. Or you can flip the top plate around and attach it differently so you can have the birdhouse hanging off the side of the plate and screwing on the birdhouse from the back/side of the birdhouse. But that’s explained in the directions paper so no worries. They provide all screws and bolts needed as well as a small wrench and small screwdriver. And of course all the separate hooks and attachments. All and all a very nice bird feeder pole. Very nice and sturdy. I set it up in my backyard, now just to get a couple new feeders and or/outside decor to hang off the hooks and get them all set up and pretty! (The blue suet feeder was not included, I just hooked it on the hook for visual reference).
