Golden Review Award: 1 From Our UsersImage is clear, works quite well after adjusting fit and focus properly
I ordered these mainly to use at the kids’ soccer games that I go to. Seating is a bit far away due to the setup of the field and bleachers and being able to wear the binoculars is much more convenient than having to hold a traditional pair. The 2.5x zoom works well for my application and overall, they’re better than I expected them to be but not perfect. To start, it’s a really nice package that comes with them; the box has a magnetic flap that’s pretty cool, and the fuzzy interior compartment is gusseted and sort of expands when you open the flap. Inside, the binoculars are stored in a small cloth drawstring bag and it makes for a practical storage solution while also having a nice presentation. The binoculars themselves are attached to a slightly oversized and very firm metal frame that feels fairly durable, at least more so than most sunglasses frames. Unfortunately, they’re not what I’d call comfortable to wear, but at least aren’t uncomfortable, they’re just kind of there. The weight also isn’t distributed very well, but I’m not sure I can really fault the glasses for that; one of those cords that attach to the end caps of the frames and let you tighten the glasses behind the head would probably work well here and I plan on getting one to help hold them on my head, as they tend to want to slide off if I lean forward. The binocular tubes have an adjustable angle, up or down, for each eye and also a width adjustment and they do need to be adjusted properly to get a usable field of view. I like that they have an independent diopter adjustment and I found it easy to use to focus. The resulting image is actually pretty clear and I don’t notice any distortion, I think they work quite well, but I would recommend using the snap on blinders that are included as accessories since they help keep the eyes from getting confused and focusing on the wrong area. Overall, I think they’re a pretty decent value as long as they’re dialed in properly and I’m happy with the functionality so far and would recommend them as long as you’re willing to put in the time to get used to them.

Golden Review Award: 1 From Our UsersSurprisingly Useful Beyond the Opera
I don’t actually go to the opera, but I bought these because I occasionally work with small electronics and needed a little extra help seeing small details. They have worked surprisingly well for that purpose.

The magnification is good, and you can see a decent distance with them. They’re comfortable on the face and easy to adjust, which makes them convenient to use. If you’re buying these for their intended purpose, I think they’re absolutely worth the money.

I’ve also found them to be great for my unintended use, so they’ve turned out to be more versatile than I expected!
