Better quality and sturdier than our last one.
I purchased this bat house because we live on a property with a pond in the front yard and a stream in our backyard and we always have bats flying around. We’ve found them inside our home on occasion, most likely living in the roof with the flying squirrels (which we’ve also found inside our home).

We’ve purchased two bat houses before and one was from a local Amish man and it’s held up for 8 years now. The other one we purchased at a local farm store and I’ll just say it fell apart after 2 years. This one is definitely better quality than that one. I don’t know how long it’ll last as we won’t be putting it up until late winter/early spring.

It looks nice and has ventilation slots on the sides. The hardware, gloves, and directions are included. I will update this review if/when there is an issue with the product, but for now I think it’s a good choice. We plan to install it directly above our pond on a metal pole in an area near where we see the most bat activity.

Mosquitoes own our PNW dusk patio during camping season prep, so a cedar bat house felt like inviting the right neighbors. Two chamber roost with ventilation gives bats options for temperature, and the mounting kit covers wall or post installs. Wood smells honest and arrives mostly ready, which saved a build night. Gloves and a level in the kit made hanging less guesswork. Natural interior stays free of harsh coatings for wildlife. We mounted it high on the sunny side of the shed for morning warmth.

Edges were a bit sharp until I smoothed them with sandpaper, a quick fix. Bats take their sweet time moving in, so patience is part of the deal. Once dusk flights start near the box the patio feels less like a buffet for bugs. Nature handling pest control beats another spray can.

Well-Built Bat HouseCant Wait for Some New Residents!
I’ve been wanting a bat house for a long time, and this one is perfect! I hung it at the top of the front face of my old corn crib, since the bats like to take up residence next door in my chicken coop. I’m hoping they’ll decide this makes a better home and move in next spring!

The bat house is well built and feels very sturdy. It also came with all the hardware needed to hang it in a few different ways, which made installation convenient. Now I just have to wait and see if my future tenants arrive! I’m excited to hopefully give the bats a new home and enjoy having them around.

Good quality, easy to put up
It comes pre built so you just have to figure out where you are going to put it and be done with it. I get the whole reason that is slender and not alot of opening but it makes cleaning it out harder if wasps and other insects set up home in there and they shouldn’t. Which you would think they wouldn’t since you know bats probably would eat them.

It came with screws to install on a tree or side of a house. We put it in the very very back yard on a tree.

    Awesome product!!
Awesome bat house! It’s sad that one of nature’s best insect control is declining in population.

Bats are such awesome animals. We have a few left in our area, but not like it used to be.

I thought it would be fun to install a bat house and give the critters a local home. The installation instructions are very detailed and informative. I am limping a sick Juniper tree, and will mount the house up on that. I hope the bats discover it and use it. I will readily buy more if they do indeed house bats!

The build quality on this bat house is really awesome, and so totally worth the money!

Good Quality Bat House! 2 Chamber! Will House 75 Bats! Solid Cedar Construction!
Good Quality Bat House! 2 Chambers! Will House 75 Bats! Solid Cedar Construction! Upon opening this, I could smell the cedar wood. I was impressed with the quality of the construction. I have never had a bat house before, so this is a first. Living in the humid South, we deal with a lot of mosquitoes, which is why I ordered this. We also deal with wasps and mud daubers. From my research, a bat box with less than 1″ spacing is ideal to keep wasps and mud daubers to a minimum. The spacing on the two chambers are 3/4″ (see photo). There are small slits on the back and sides for a little ventilation. The box also came with brackets for mounting. I plan to mount this on a pole, 15′ in the air, near my pond, facing Southeast, to get the morning sun for warmth. I recommend doing some research on the best placement of the box to attract the bats, and protect them from over heating and under heating, which can harm the bats. Also, the color makes a big difference here, as you want a lighter color for warmth climates and a darker color for cooler climates (Don’t just order the color that looks good to you.) Once I get my first family of bats, I will have to update this review. Hopefully I’ll be able to take pictures without getting attacked by mosquitoes! Overall, I recommend this product!

A Solid, Well-Made Bat House Thats Already a Favorite
We absolutely love this two-chamber bat house! We originally had a bat house that came with our home and was attached to the house, but we eventually realized the bats were finding their way into our attic. We decided to take that one down and move our new bat house out into the woods, where it’s a much better fit.

This bat house is solid and well made, and we were pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to hang, as it was already put together when it arrived.. The cedar construction feels sturdy, and the two-chamber design gives the bats a nice sheltered place to settle in.

We love having bats around because they naturally help keep the mosquito and bug population down. One of our favorite things is sitting around the fire pit at night and watching the bats come out. It’s actually pretty cool to see them flying around while knowing they’re helping with the insects at the same time.

Overall, we’re very happy with this bat house. It looks great in its new location, feels durable, and was straightforward to assemble and install. We’re hoping it becomes a popular little bat residence!

If I could rate this product higher, I would. Very impressive piece, see video
The folks that designed and make these bat houses really know what their doing and seemed to have thought of everything. I love that you can get a single, double, or triple. They thought of weather and climate for the different areas of the country by recommending the color to choose. They are really well made. Cedar construction with wood screws. The cuts on the wood are all perfect and in line and straight. All the pieces were cut with tight tolerances and fit together perfectly. The price point for such a nice piece is exceptional in my book. And it doesn’t stop there. They give you mounting hardware to mount this to a tree, to a wall and separate instructions for each on how to mount the box. There is a comprehensive instruction manual on how to mount it to a pole and how to mount two of these together. That’s why I have not yet put this house up. After going over everything, I decided not to mount it to a tree. I decided to get a pole and since I’m going to go to all that trouble, I’m going to get another bat house and mount two of them on the same pole. The instruction manual is very detailed about the hardware you would need, the type and size of pole to use, as well as including very helpful advice on where to mount your bat house and why. This is one of those products that I really appreciate getting because it was over the top impressive to me. If you’ve seen any of my reviews, I don’t give high praise like this very often. This one goes above and beyond my expectations. I would highly recommend this product. Enjoy the video!
