The picture is clear, the fit was exactly like the original, and it worked right away with no issues. Great value compared to dealer pricing—highly recommend for anyone needing a replacement on a 2016–2019 Silverado or Sierra.
Perfect fit. Perfect factory fit. Clear and bright screen. Easy installation. No instructions needed. Removing the old connector was the hardest part. Have patience with this part. Pull the red tab and make sure you press hard the button in front of the red connector. Then is pulls apart very easily.
Fixes the foggy / bad quality camera issue. If you have a truck with a foggy OEM backup camera this should make it 90% better. I like others purchased a used 2019 Sierra 3500 DRW and the backup camera was horrible. IT was foggy and image quality was very low, I figured out that the cameras can go bad, I decided to buy this one and though its not perfect the brightness, color and quality is 10x better then what it was. At night its still not super great but I think that’s more of a GM issue. Installation was not bad, fairly simple, the hardest part was fishing the wire through the tailgate to get it under the truck bed where the connection is but still not super difficult.
