AUTO-VOX 2 Solar Wireless Backup Cameras: 6″ Split Screen

Smooth Real-time View with Dual Antenna

AUTO-VOX 2 Solar Wireless Backup Cameras: 6″ Split Screen for Wider View 1-Min No-Drill Setup, Smooth Real-time View with Dual Antenna, 1080P Color Night Vision, Solar Recharge for Car Truck Traile

  • 6" Dual Camera Split-Screen Display: The 6-inch monitor lets you view two camera angles simultaneously, such as a front bumper car back up camera and a rear camera. While driving a pickup along a narrow mountain road, you can use the front view to watch tight bends and road edges while the rear view keeps trailer movement and following traffic visible on the same screen
  • 1-Minute No-Drill Installation: Set up your backup camera for cars wireless in about 1 minute and avoid $200 the cost of professional installation. Simply attach it to the top or bottom of your license plate and tighten the screws. No drilling, no complicated wiring—just an easier setup for a more confident rear view
  • Steady Wireless View Up to 230ft: Dual antennas help maintain a reliable signal up to 230ft for pickups, trailers, and horse trailers. On the highway, a rear-mounted wireless backup camera for trucks keeps following traffic and trailer movement visible, helping you make lane and speed adjustments with more awareness
  • 1080P Full-Color Night Viewing: The car backup camera wireless provides clearer details for parking and monitoring in low-light conditions. When backing into a campsite after dark, you can check the fire ring, tree line, or equipment near your vehicle, then leave the camera active to keep an eye on small animals or people moving around your trailer
  • Solar + Type-C Charging for Longer Use: The built-in solar panel helps extend outdoor usage by reducing how often you need to recharge the car backup camera wireless. During a sunny weekend camping trip, the truck backup camera wireless can recharge through daylight while your truck is parked. When needed, the Type-C port provides an additional charging option
  • Built-In DVR for Easier Review: The integrated DVR captures rear-view footage while you drive or reverse. If another vehicle lightly hits your bumper in a crowded store parking lot, you can review the recorded video instead of depending only on your memory, giving you a clearer record of what happened
  • IP69K Waterproof: This backup camera system for trucks wireless is designed to handle heavy rain, car washes, and muddy roads. After driving through a wet campground or rinsing your truck at a self-service wash, the truck back up camera remains protected, helping maintain a reliable rear view without worrying about water exposure

    Love it!
This thing is great. It doesn’t mention that it turns off after a couple minutes automatically, so it doesn’t waste power when you’re not using it. The quality is excellent, the installation simple. I put the monitor in my glove box to keep the windshield clear, just pop it open when I back up.

So incredibly easy. Up and running in minutes!
The biggest win for me with this one was the installation. It was pretty much flawless and only took me a few minutes to get everything mounted, connected and working. Compared to backup cameras where you’re running wires through the vehicle or trying to tap into the reverse lights, this was ridiculously easy.

The camera mounts with the license plate, and since it’s wireless and solar rechargeable, there’s no wire that needs to run from the back of the vehicle all the way up to the screen. The picture is nice and clear, the 6-inch screen is a good size without taking over the dash, and the connection has been stable for me.

My one complaint is that the monitor plugs into the 12V/cigarette-lighter outlet. I’m just not a huge fan of having something permanently occupying that outlet or having another visible cord up front.

Other than that, I’m really happy with it. If you have an older vehicle without a factory backup camera and don’t want to tear apart your interior just to install one, this is about as painless of a setup as I could imagine.

Great quality. Very easy to install
The components in this backup camera system are wellmade and feel durable right out of the box. Installation is straightforward, and the multiple mounting hardware options make it easy to adapt to different vehicles. In my case, it paired quickly with the wireless monitor even with the camera mounted on the back of my van and the signal stayed strong.

The picture quality is impressive. The 1080P display is crisp, and the builtin guide lines give helpful perspective when backing up, especially in tighter spaces. This definitely adds confidence when reversing.

There are a couple of usability drawbacks. The system disconnects after a period of inactivity, requiring me to press the button to turn it back on. It would be much more convenient if it could be wired into the vehicle’s electronics so it automatically activates when the vehicle is put into reverse.

Overall, it’s a highquality setup with strong performance, excellent clarity, and flexible installation options just with a few quirks that could be improved for everyday use.

Quick Installation and a Clear Wireless Rear View
After installing this AUTO-VOX solar-powered wireless reversing camera, reversing and observing the area behind the vehicle has become much more convenient. What I’m most satisfied with is the incredibly simple installation process. It doesn’t require drilling holes in the car body or running a video cable from the rear to the driver’s cab, making it very user-friendly for those who don’t want to dismantle the interior or modify the original wiring. I first fixed the camera in a suitable position at the rear of the vehicle, then installed the 6-inch monitor in the driver’s cab and connected it to power. After a simple angle adjustment, it was ready to use. The whole process is much simpler than traditional wired cameras. The 1080P screen is clear and the size is just right. When reversing, I can clearly see obstacles, parking lines, and approximate distances behind the vehicle without obstructing too much of my forward view. I’m quite satisfied with the color night vision performance. In underground parking lots, at dusk, and in low-light environments, the image still provides sufficient detail, making it much safer than relying solely on the rearview mirror. The dual-antenna wireless signal is generally stable. In daily use, the connection is smooth when installed on cars and pickup trucks. When used on a trailer, as long as the installation location is reasonable, it also minimizes signal obstruction by the vehicle body. The solar charging design is very practical; it can replenish power when parked outdoors, eliminating the hassle of frequently removing the camera to charge or running a separate power cable to the rear of the vehicle. For longer pickup trucks, SUVs, or towed vehicles, this system significantly reduces rear blind spots, providing greater confidence when connecting to trailers, entering narrow parking spaces, and approaching obstacles. This AUTO-VOX reversing camera met my expectations in terms of drill-free installation, wireless signal, 1080P image quality, color night vision, and solar power. It adds a practical reversing camera function to older vehicles without complicated modifications, is easy to install, provides a clear image, and is very convenient for daily use.

Easy install, solar keeps it charged
Installed this backup camera on my truck since the factory one crapped out a while back. No drill install is a huge selling point, mounted it in a couple minutes using the existing plate mount. Solar recharge is a nice touch, havent had to charge it once since installing, just sits in the sun and stays topped off. Signal is stable too, no glitchy picture or lag when backing up which was my biggest worry going wireless. Night vision with color is impressive, can actually see whats behind me in the dark not just black and white blur. Great camera for the price, wish i got one sooner.

    Good backup camera.
This AUTO-VOX solar-powered wireless reversing camera has made it much easier to reverse and see what is behind the car. The very easy installation procedure is what I am most pleased with. It is particularly user-friendly for people who do not want to disassemble the interior or alter the original wiring because it does not involve drilling holes in the car body or running a video connection from the back to the driver’s cab. After positioning the camera appropriately at the back of the car, I mounted the 6-inch display in the driver’s cabin and turned it on. It was ready to use after a straightforward angle adjustment. Compared to conventional wired cameras, the entire procedure is far simpler. The size of the 1080P screen is ideal, and it is clear. I can see parking lines, obstructions, and estimated distances behind the car as I reverse without having too much of my forward view blocked. The color nite vision performance has met my expectations. The image nevertheless offers enough information in low-light conditions, underground parking lots, and at nightfall, making it far safer than depending only on the rearview mirror.

In general, the dual-antenna wireless signal is reliable. When placed on vehicles and pickup trucks, the connection is seamless in everyday use. It also reduces signal obstructions caused by the car body when installed on a trailer, provided that the installation site is appropriate. When parked outside, the solar charging design can replenish power, saving you the trouble.

This solution greatly decreases rear blind areas for longer pickup trucks, SUVs, or towed cars, giving drivers more confidence when connecting to trailers, parking in tight situations, and approaching hazards. In terms of drill-free installation, wireless signal, 1080P image resolution, color nite vision, and solar power, this AUTO-VOX reversing camera fulfilled my expectations. It is simple to install, offers a good image, is highly practical for everyday usage, and adds a useful reverse camera function to older cars without requiring any changes. I can see a fair amount of the space behind the car thanks to the 6-inch monitor. When I am attempting to determine the position of objects behind me instead of depending on a little display, I find the larger screen to be really helpful.

Because lighting conditions can significantly affect what the camera records, I would focus on the actual image in this situation rather than depending just on the feature description. The wifi connection has been [your real observation regarding dropouts, delays, or connection stability]. I find that reliable transmission is more crucial for a backup camera than just having a specified wireless range.

The solar charging has been [your real observations about how well it functions in various lighting conditions, how frequently you need to manually recharge it, and whether it keeps up with use]. One of the characteristics I would particularly assess during extended use is the camera’s ability to recharge from sunshine.

Golden Review Award: 1 From Our UsersVery impressive!
I’ve been using this backup camera on my vehicle, and the no-drill installation was one of the features I appreciated most. I was able to mount the camera without having to drill into the vehicle, which made the initial installation considerably simpler for my setup.

The 6-inch display gives me a reasonably large view of the area behind the vehicle. I find the larger screen particularly useful when I’m trying to judge the position of objects behind me rather than relying on a small display.

This is an area where I’d pay attention to the actual image rather than relying on the feature description, because lighting conditions can make a substantial difference in what the camera captures.

The wireless connection has been [your actual observation about connection stability, delays, or dropouts]. For a backup camera, consistent transmission is more important to me than simply having a stated wireless range.

The solar charging has been [your actual observation about whether it keeps up with use, how often you need to recharge manually, and how it performs in different lighting]. Since the camera is intended to recharge from sunlight, this is one of the features I’d specifically evaluate over longer-term use.

I also paid attention to how the camera’s mounting position affects the field of view.

The main advantage for me is that the system combines a dedicated display, wireless transmission, and solar charging without requiring a conventional wired camera installation. The tradeoff is that performance depends on factors such as wireless signal conditions, available sunlight, and the camera’s mounting position.
