I wanted something different to add into my home. The value is great and the look would match your kitchen. It serves the purpose of clearing extra space with (2) burners so, the functionality is there. It didn’t fit in the space I’d hoped, however I will be used it elsewhere.
This is a great cooktop that is easy to clean and scratch-resistant. It was fairly easy to install, thanks to the included sponge strip that helps protect the glass during installation. Also included in the box is a thank-you card from Cooksir, essentially asking you to contact them if you experience any issues because customer satisfaction is their top priority. While I can’t verify the validity of that, as thankfully I haven’t encountered any issues (yet), the sentiment is appreciated.
In addition to what I have mentioned so far, it also comes with a razor blade to help clean off any residue left over after removing the sponge strip (which is much appreciated) and the hardware needed for installation. I included a picture depicting a section of the instructions that I am surprised, yet grateful, they decided to include. One of the sections gives tips and references for how to cook various items, such as steak and stir-fry. It’s not just a basic guide either; under the section on how to cook rice, it explains the difference between boiling and simmering, discussing how “that’s the key to delicious soups and tender stews.” They went above and beyond to provide their customers with beneficial information, and they honestly taught me something I didn’t already know.
I also included a picture of the instructions explaining the safety features they implemented to make both their product and their customers safer. The first is the “over-temperature” protection, which continuously measures the temperature on the surface and shuts it down if it detects excessive heat, turning back on when the temperature lowers. It also has an auto shutdown feature that turns the cooktop off after a certain amount of time in case you forget to do so. That’s a great feature for those of us who get distracted easily or for times when it might accidentally be turned on unknowingly. (Hey, it happens sometimes!) Also, an “H” appears when the surface is too hot to touch and disappears when it is safe to touch it again.
It does specifically state that it needs to be installed by “qualified personnel or technicians”, but I also take that to mean someone with experience, not just someone with basic knowledge they learned from watching a video online. My partner didn’t have any trouble installing this and while he isn’t a professional, he has a lot of experience, as our house was a total remodel and he did all of the work himself, with my help, of course!
All in all, this is clearly made by a company that not only pays attention to detail but also cares about their customers, especially their safety. This cooktop works well and is suitable for pretty much any type of cookware you might have, including ceramic and glass. It has multiple safety features to ensure that whoever uses the cooktop walks away unscathed and doesn’t accidentally burn their house down if they forget to turn it off!

This is an absolute gem, it heats up really quick, easy to control the temperature, very stylish definitely worth the money. It’s large enough to hold a 24cm pan/pot. The function settings are easy to use, will leave this out after new cooker is fitted.

We got this cooktop to add to a mother-in-law suite in our house. We hired an electrician to professionally install it because we didn’t want to screw it up. This is a quality cooktop. We got the two burner version that has two knobs to control it. It looks well built. It’s responsive and heats up fast. This is so much better and safer than using a countertop cooktop that you plug in. we’re very pleased. Five out of five stars.
Because it’s 240v, this has the actual power needed to do the job. 120v cooktops work, but lack in overall power. This one at 240v definitely stands above the 120v counterparts in terms of performance. It’s hardwired, so be ready for that.
The only thing I don’t like is the knob control is a little bit more cumbersome to clean than the smooth top with the touch sensitive buttons. It’s not terrible, though, and still way easier than a traditional cooktop.
Overall, I really like it as it works well. 4 stars.
This is a great stove top. It heats extremely fast and with only two burners there is still plenty of room for large pots. It is easy to clean being a smooth top and it has not scratched either. The knobs are large and settings are easy to see. I got this for a second mini kitchen I added in the downstairs. This is a quality cook-top and could be used as a main one if needed. Over seas they don’t have the huge cook-tops we are used to and this one would fit right in over there. Great cook-top and could be also used outside next to the grill as long as it was out of the elements which is where I thought I might get another one for. The speed it heats up and the size would be perfect. Great addition to any cooking area.
This stovetop is high quality and looks nice. The controls are intuitive and it can be used in places where a full stove might not be practical.
As a smooth glass top stove, it is much easier to clean than ovens with the burner element exposed. And even though I use cast iron pans for cooking my steaks, there’s no visible scratching on the surface.
I do recommend getting a cleaning kit for a glass top stoves as when food gets burned onto the glass It can be hard to remove.
This stove does not work on normal current, it needs to be installed in a 240 volt setup. The wires do not come with a plug on the end so it will have to be wired. I recommend that you have a professional do this as doing it incorrectly can damage the stove and be a fire hazard.
In my case, I find that my stove gets too crowded and I am using this as a secondary stove to help me cook multiple dishes at once. It is an excellent way to do this and I am very happy with this choice. If you are in the market for an electronic stove top, then this one is definitely worth your consideration.
