Excellent replacement for a high mileage Pro 22 auger.
I use my Traeger Pro 22 several hours a week.
Mostly on smoke for 8 to 10 hours a shot.
I have found all the replacement parts I need here on Amazon.
This auger is a great replacement for my high mileage, well rounded auger.
This thing is a beast, it is well made and true.
It moves the pellets into the fire pot just like it should.
Installation was not difficult and since I was in there, I gave it all a good cleaning.
This replacement came with everything I needed to move another few hundred pounds of pellets.
IMO it is a great value for the moolah because it will last a couple years ( a few thousand hours ) like my original auger.
My Traeger Pro 22 is awesome. I got the addon shelf, various heat deflectors, a cover, a great drip bucket with inserts, spare fire pot, spare motor and nice SS grates all here on Amazon.
I will be smokin’ for years with this awesome grill.
Good quality
I can’t speak to the fit yet for my Traeger Century 22, but it should fit just fine. I haven’t had the need to replace the existing auger yet.
Quality-wise, this auger is fine. The finish is smooth with no burrs or deformities. The pitch appears to be identical to the existing auger.
What is really nice is that the auger also comes with a new bushing and nut/bolt, so replacing the whole unit is easy.
The bushing is nylon and is also good quality and the appropriate size and shape.
The price is in line with what I would have expected.
