Product description

If You Have The Camera, You NEED This Battery
I actually already had an external battery for my Xtra Muse camera but decided to get this one either to use alongside the first battery or replace it depending on what I thought. After testing this one out, this is definitely an upgrade over what I was using and this will now be my primary battery pack.
First, I was surprised when I opened the box because I thought I was just getting the battery but there was also a foldable tripod base and a screen protector included. The tripod is the standard action cam one, it comes folded into a tube but you can fold out the three legs and screw it into the bottom of the battery to stand the camera up. The screen protector comes with the standard prep supplies and was easy to install on the flip out screen and it looks and fits great.
As for the battery itself, it offered a number of improvements over the battery I already had. Obviously the biggest one is the screen which displays how much charge is left and tells you when the device is being charged. There is a power button you can use to turn the battery on and off so you can only use it when you need it. The next improvement is that there is a button on the back that pops the two latches on the sides when you want to disconnect from the camera. The old battery made you do this manually pushing on each of the latches to disconnect them. Finally, there is a protective cap on the top of the battery to cover the USB C connector when you are carrying it, the old battery just left this exposed and I honestly never thought about it but obviously it’s a good thing to have.
The battery works exactly as you’d expect. Once you connect it to the camera it will start charging the camera’s battery and it has enough power to completely charge the camera from 0 to 100 once and then a little more. You can plug in a USB C cable into the side of the battery which will first pass through power to charge the camera and then charge the battery once the camera is fully charged. You can also charge the battery by itself and it has fast charging to go very quickly, it can charge about 20% in just 5-10 minutes. Taken altogether, I think this battery is a great value and a valuable addition to any camera.
Great for Traveling
I’ve got to say, this product is fantastic and super handy for traveling! I love how easy it is to carry around and how convenient it is to use when I’m on the go. It really simplifies charging and using my camera while I’m away from home.
Excellent all round performance with wireless mic pairing feature as a bonus.
I often shoot for extended periods with my Osmo pocket three camera sometimes lasting all day and into the evening so it’s really advantageous for me to have extra battery power for my camera. I’ve tried several battery handles must of which work really well so trying this upgraded handle was something I just had to dp. At first glance, it looked no different from several of my other battery handles., however this one came with a protective cover on the top which meant the USB type connector to my camera was well protected when the battery handle was not in use. The protective cap was easily removed by depressing the release lock button on the handle . The camera also had a small power button just below the LCD screen which is pressed for at least a second would actually turn the battery handle on and when pressed again for more than one second, it would turn the battery handle off. This power button also had a second function which when pressed twice., switched the camera into purring mode for a wireless microphone. Of course, this was some redundant when using DJI microphones as pair with the camera m but I did test it with several other brand wireless microphones and found it to work well.. this feature was something of a time saver when it came to quickly connecting a microphone that was not a DJI brand to the camera.
The camera had a very clear LCD screen which showed clearly the amount of charge left in the battery handle when it was powered on when putting the battery handle into microphone purring mode the LCD screen clearly showed a large P to show that it was in pairing mode the screen also showed the amount of charge when the battery handle was charging
Charging the battery handle was simply a matter of connecting it to the USBC cable that came with it It did take a couple of hours to charge fully, but this was no slower than most of the battery handles I’ve experienced. When using it for A full day of shooting, I found that connecting the battery handle to the camera gave the camera slightly more than double its normal life. This did very slightly depending on whether I was doing continuous shooting or leaving several minutes of gap between each shoot. I did find the battery handle was a comfortable fit in my hand and the whole kit of camera and handle were easily connected to tripods selfie sticks and other additional accessories using the 1/4 inch screw hole on the base of the battery handle.
On the whole, I found it to be a valuable addition to my equipment and it is something that I would use when I’m doing extended shooting it performed well was able to double the life of my camera cameras internal battery, and had a clear screen with the required information easily visible even in bright daylight I would say ranks among the better battery handles I’ve experienced The included mini tripod kept the handle and camera reasonably stable when placed on a flat surface and it’s ability to connect with any device having a 1/4 inch screw hole made it usable beyond just the battery handle.
I would certainly recommend this battery handle and tripod combo to anyone looking for a good value well performing battery handle for the pocket three or pocket for camera
Great battery handle!
Bought this for my Osmo Pocket 4 and it’s been working great. The 5000mAh capacity gives it a solid power boost for longer shoot days. I especially like the digital battery percentage display so I know exactly how much juice is left. Charges fast, fits snugly, and saves a good amount of money compared to the OEM version. Highly recommend!
Massive Battery Boost and Excellent Real-Time Power Tracking
I recently picked up this INSEESI battery handle because the native battery life on my DJI Osmo Pocket 3 only lasts for a few hours before dying, which can be pretty limiting on a vacation with my family. This grip has been an absolute game-changer, providing a massive 5000mAh boost. It effortlessly an extra three hours of continuous recording time, completely eliminating any battery anxiety while I am out capturing vlogs or family footage for the day.
The physical design and build quality are completely high-grade throughout the entire unit. It fit my pocket 3 perfectly. It feels sturdy and comfortable to hold, matching the premium aesthetic of the camera. My absolute favorite feature is the built-in digital screen display on the front. Unlike generic handles that only give you a few vague blinking LED dots, this one gives me an actual, precise percentage meter so I know exactly how much juice is left in the grip at any given moment, helping me stay completely prepared for uninterrupted shooting.
It also includes a brilliant array of accessories that add a ton of real-world utility to the package. The attachable mini tripod base is a really nice touch, screwing firmly into the standard 1/4-inch mount on the bottom to provide a perfectly stable platform for time-lapses or stationary desktop shots. It also features an upgraded power button that allows me to link a wireless microphone directly to the grip without needing extra adapters, keeping my setup incredibly clean and simple. For the quality and extra runtime it delivers, this is easily a full five-star addition to any gear bag.
Convenient Portable Charge
This mini power bank works great as a compact backup battery for quick charges on the go. The USB C connector makes it super convenient to use without lugging around for cables and the digital screen gives you an accurate percentage of how much charge is left It gets the job done and easily fits in your pocket, but my main concern is the built in connector it feels a bit thin and fragile so you have to be careful when plugging it in or pulling it out so it doesn’t snap off over time. Overall fit perfect great value for the money it’s a handy charger, just handle it gently
Sturdy, well-designed, more-than doubles your shooting time
This is much larger than the official DJI battery add-on – this pretty much doubles the size to an almost ridiculous height. But it’s got power! I plugged it into my Pocket 4p when the 4p was at 23% and the charger at 100%, and in probably an hour or 2 the 4p was at 100%, with the battery still at 26%.
I don’t know if I’d want to shoot a lot with this thing on given its size, but it does have a good feel to it – a premium texture that keeps it from slipping.
The screen is simple and easy to read – I didn’t use the USB port for a mic, but it is nice that it is there if you don’t use native DJI mics.
The cover for the USB connector is a great feature – I feel better about tossing this in a camera bag knowing it’s protected.
The mini tripod and screen protector are nice add-ons, if you need them. I’m sure I will since I tend to scratch my screen and lose small accessories more often that I should.
A great package, price, and accessory to have
