Bright clear mirror with excellent magnification but not quite bright enough
I’m really happy with this mirror overall and it’s much nicer quality than I expected for the price. I’ve owned quite a few magnifying mirrors over the years and this is honestly one of the better ones. The mirror clarity is excellent and the magnification is very strong, which makes it really useful for things like tweezing eyebrows or cleaning out pores without struggling to see properly.
I also really like that both sides of the mirror have lighting instead of just the regular side. The adjustable height is another feature I didn’t realize I’d appreciate so much until using it. My old mirror sat way too high and I always found myself awkwardly leaning forward to use it. Being able to adjust this one makes it way more comfortable at my vanity.
The biggest downside for me is that the light isn’t quite as bright as I personally like. It’s definitely brighter than most mirrors I’ve owned before and not dim by any means, but I prefer extremely bright lighting when doing skincare or tweezing and this falls just slightly short of that for me.
I also wish the power button was on both sides because currently it’s only accessible from one side of the mirror. I’m constantly flipping it around and touching the mirror trying to find the switch, which leaves fingerprints everywhere. Surprisingly though, the finish doesn’t show fingerprints as badly as I expected. It does attract dust pretty quickly though and I think I would have preferred a brushed nickel finish instead of the shiny stainless steel look.
Overall, for $19 I think this is a really great mirror. The clarity, magnification, adjustable height, and USB-C charging make it feel much more modern and higher quality than a lot of cheaper vanity mirrors I’ve tried.
This mirror is lightweight, compact, and fits easily into my bag. It stands up securely on its own and is perfect for quick touch-ups on the go or at my desk. Great quality for the price!
