great hose
I pickwd this hose to use around my yard and garden, and it has worked well so far. The stainless steel outer layer feels much more durable than a traditional rubber hose, and it doesn’t kink or tangle nearly as easily. It’s lightweight enough to move around without much effort, and it coils up neatly when I’m done using it.
The brass fittings connect securely and I haven’t noticed any leaking. Water flow has been consistent, and the hose lays flat instead of fighting against itself. The 15-foot length is perfect for small outdoor tasks, watering plants, and cleaning around the patio.
Overall, this is a sturdy, easy-to-use hose that feels durable and convenient for everyday yard work.

OVERALL REVIEW: This 15 foot metal covered garden hose has brass fittings and “anti-kink” sleeves on each end.
QUALITY OF ITEM: Very Good
This is a great hose for “close to the house” projects or for storing in an RV or other location that eeds just a shorter hose. It is made of stainless steel and similar to a hand-held shower hose. The hose has brass hardware hook-ups and I observed no leakage at connections.
PROS: Stainless steel, looks very nice, easy to wind and store.

WOULD I RECOMMEND? Yes
I like this idea of a stainless steel hose and it is easy to handle and appears to endure the outside elements well so far. Of course the price is higher than a cheap rubber hose, but this is not a cheap rubber hose!
I put it to use right after I unpacked it; it was effortless to run the hose from the water tank to a bucket 10′ away. After using heavy kink-free hoses for years, it is a relief to lift this hose and use it for what it was designed to do without spending time removing kinks to make the water flow in the line. I have seen rubber hose inner lining flakes when left in hot sun, this hose with a metal outer layer probably the water inside will reach higher temperature than that in a rubber tube. I don’t know what is the material of this hose’s inner layer and how it will behave in extreme environmental conditions. Another concern of mine is its outer surface is not smooth, so I would assume when it is dragged it is going to scrape mud from the ground if it is not cleaned right away the mud caught in the grooves may lead to reduction in the hose’s flexibility.
With a good maintenance and careful handling while dragging the hose on the ground, this hose can be in service for a long time. This hose will add pleasure to watering our beloved garden plants and will shorten the watering time by saving us time from not having to fight with kinks.
I’ve used hoses like this, and for short runs, they’re honestly a big step up from the typical rubber ones.

I own quite a few of these Stainless Steel hoses, and I can tell you from experience that they are light, durable and you don’t have to fight them or spend all your time untangling them, every time you use them!
I have these in 100 feet, 50 feet, 10 feet and now this great sized 15 foot hose.
I have personally had this style hose out for 3 whole summer seasons in direct sun, and it didn’t harm the hose or its performance at all. I do make a point to drain all my hoses and store them in the garage for Winter.
This 15 foot hose is quality made and has very nice brass hose connections with plastic grips, so it’s easy to connect them to your outside hydrant or to any accessories, like a hose reel, sprinkler or sprayer.
This seller has included 3 hose washers in a package, along with one hose washer already installed, so you still have 3 ‘extra’ washers to use in the future, or in case you have to ‘double up’ with two washers, to get a good seal. Nice plus!
They also have included a small roll of Teflon Tape, should you need it on the threads of anything you are connecting your hose to, to make sure you have a ‘leak-free’ connection. Another thoughtful addition to a smart purchase!
I didn’t need the Teflon tape, on my connection, because I got a great seal with just the hose washers that were included, but I will keep this tape in my tool box, for the many things you could use it for in the future.

Small hose but durable and doesnt kink
This seems to be a decent hose. It does not kink due to the metal sleeve, which is great for places that are hot and dry like here in NM. Regular hoses tend to bake and dry out in our summers and when they get kinked up they crack easily. So far this hose seems to solve that problem. It prevents sharp corners/kinks but also allows enough bending to allow you to loop it around a hose rack.
The price of around $20 seems very reasonable for what appears to be a hose that will last a while, although I did wish it was slightly longer. 15ft is surprisingly short.
