I’m a sophomore and this is my second year using the same desk skirt. Wash it in a laundry bag on gentle cycle and it still looks brand new. The elastic is still holding strong, no sagging at the corners. I use the front split opening literally every day to grab my laptop charger and notebooks without having to move the whole thing. Heads up — measure your desk before ordering! My first one was small so I had to reorder, but customer service was super helpful and shipped a replacement fast. Will definitely be buying this again next year too.
I swear this is one of the best purchases I made for move-in.My dorm desk is super ugly and I had so much random stuff stored under it (extra snacks, mini fan, cables, shoes lol). This skirt completely hides everything and my side of the room actually looks put-together now. I went with the medium (42in) and it fits perfectly on my standard dorm desk. The split in the front is super convenient for grabbing stuff quickly. Material isn’t the thickest but it does the job and doesn’t look cheap. 10/10 recommend to any girl moving into the dorms this fall.
Bought this for my son’s college dorm because every time I video called him his room looked like a tornado hit it He has so much under his desk (bike helmet, shoes, laundry basket, etc.) and now I can’t see any of it when we FaceTime. The fabric is decent quality, the elastic stretches well, and it took him like 2 minutes to put on. The white does show a little lint from time to time but honestly a lint roller takes care of it in 10 seconds — not a big deal at all. He actually said it “looks chill” which is high praise from a 19 year old boy lol. Honestly thinking about getting one for my home office too.
