The material is soft and gentle against the skin, and the overall design creates a relaxed, cozy atmosphere in the room.
I have been wanting a chair like this to relax in. Sometimes it is better than my recliner or couch. I was happy to try this one.
This is not a bean bag chair per se. The filling is shredded memory foam. It has an inner shell with a zipper that the foam is in. The outer cover has to be installed separately and also has a zipper. Both pieces seem to be well made. The seams are tightly sewn and straight. The zipper zips easily on both. The outer cover is washable, which is a big plus.
The memory foam is not the best there is. I have bought a lot of shredded memory foam pillows and I can tell the difference. This chair has foam that has hard pieces instead of all of them being soft. It isn’t necessarily bad for a chair.
There are a couple of problems with the chair, though. First, it says to give it several days to fluff up. I did, and it could still use more foam. It is not even close to what the product images show. Instead of having a chair appearance, it looks like a big grey puddle. I am only 5 ft 1 and there is no way I am going to comfortably sit in this chair. I like the idea of the chair, though, so I may buy some extra foam to get the firmness I want. It is great to lay back on after a long day at the computer. It opens up my chest and back.
My grandson loves to read in it, though. He is 9 and much closer to the ground than me.
Second, after 4 days, it still has a faint odor. It was bad straight out of the box. I feel like it will continue to get better.
If it had more stuffing, it would be a pretty good deal, but since what I bought in no way matches the product images, I am a little disappointed. For $60 at the time of this writing, I think more stuffing could have been included.

Comfortable and has a good washable cove
I bought this 3-foot bean bag chair in gray for our teen to use. It arrived nicely compressed but expanded perfectly once I opened it. The memory foam filling is thick and supportive. The color is as I expected and pictured.
The plush faux fur cover feels soft against the skin. What I really appreciate is that the cover is fully removable and machine washable, which is a game changer for kids and we also have pets. There’s also a convenient handle that makes it easy to move around the house from the living room to the bedroom or game room. I will say the handle is holding up at present, but just feels weak like it will rip where it’s stitched in. Again it hasn’t. But I feel it’s a weak point.
After a couple of weeks of daily use, it still holds its shape really well and hasn’t gone flat. It’s filled with memory foam pieces and not the typical bean bag filling. So it’s less floppy and holds it’s shape better. It’s not the bean bag you grew up with for sure.
It’s fun and reasonably prices and we love it.
