Very attractive and feels good
Very attractive.. wish the rest of my bathroom lived up to it. The wood is nice and smooth, without being slippery. Very pleasant to step out of the shower and feel it on my feet. It seems to stay in place nicely, without slipping around on the floor.
I just wish it were a tad bit larger. My previous mat was about 2 inches bigger in each direction, and this just seems a little small.
I absolutely love this piece and use it right outside of my outdoor shower sort of like a welcome mat. It makes for the perfect entrance into the shower and a nice place to step post shower. I was thinking I’d use it IN the shower, but it’s a little small for that. It’s slightly over 19-1/2″ x 13″ so keep that in mind when purchasing this.
The wood is absolutely beautiful and it dries surprisingly quickly. There are six little anti-slip pads on the bottom which serve two purposes. They raise the mat slightly off the ground and they also keep the mat from sliding out of place.
The recommendation is to stand it upright after use to allow it to dry quickly and avoid mold or mildew. Makes sense to be, especially for me using it outdoors in humid Virginia.
While I am using it in my outdoor shower, I can see many other uses for it – naturally, as a mat any other place you might need a mat (bathroom, doorway, etc.), but the wood is so beautiful, I think it could be perfect for use as a serving tray, especially for picnics and such.
It’s made of Acacia wood, which sounds mysterious (at least to me), so I wanted to know what Acacia wood is and why it would be beneficial here. Turns out that it’s one of the world’s most durable types of wood because of its hardness, water-proofing, and weight, among other things. Environmentally, because they grow quickly and have a relatively short life span (15-30 years), Acacia trees are very sustainable. This all supports my reason for purchasing this mat.
I am truly happy with it and recommend it without question.
Small Mat, Smart Solutio
This shower mat was a little smaller than I expected, but that’s completely on me for not paying closer attention to the dimensions before ordering. Once I started using it, though, I realized it works perfectly for what I needed.
I placed it over my shower drain so I can stand on it for a minute after turning off the water, allowing the excess water to drain away before stepping onto my bathroom rugs. It helps keep my floor mats dry while I towel off, which was exactly the purpose I bought it for.
The acacia wood looks great, dries quickly, feels sturdy underfoot, and gives the bathroom a nice spa-like touch. If the dimensions fit your space, I think it’s a great purchase.
Well built platform for your shower.
This platform is well built. After several days of use, the wood does not appear to change, so it sheds the water effectively. In the photo I turned it upside down to show the construction on the underside.
I like the many screws used. Everything is straight and square and well fastened down. The rubber pads are thick and pretty soft, so they make up for some uneven-ness of the floor of the shower. Showers usually have some slope downward toward the drain so there’s a curvature in the floor, and this platform’s feet were adequate to compensate for that so it sat firmly and quietly on the floor without rocking.
As you see in the photo I’ve been using a rubber mat in the shower. This wooden platform has the advantage that air flows under it easily, and it’s easily picked up for cleaning, but it still stands securely on the floor in use. The rubber mat grabs the floor, but unless I am conscious to clean under it regularly, dirt and mold can develop.
It’s a practical device for the shower that gives a luxury sauna-like feeling in use.
Beautiful, Sturdy, and Dries Quickly
This acacia wood shower mat has been an excellent addition to our bathroom. It looks much nicer than a traditional fabric bath mat and gives the space a clean, spa-like feel.
The wood feels solid and well-made, and the non-slip feet keep it securely in place while stepping in and out of the shower. One of the biggest advantages is how quickly it dries. Since water drains through the slats, it doesn’t stay wet like cloth mats, helping keep the bathroom feeling cleaner and fresher.
It’s also very easy to maintain. A quick wipe-down is usually all it takes to keep it looking great, and it has held up well to daily use.

This acacia wood shower mat is beautifully made, and I really appreciated that it came fully put together—unboxing was super easy. The wood looks great, feels sturdy, and it does dry pretty quickly, which is a big plus. It is on the smaller side, and after trying it inside my shower, I realized water still drips onto the floor around it. I’ll stick with my carpet-style shower mats for indoor use, but this ended up being perfect outside by my hot tub. Unique bath ma
I really like the look of this shower mat. It has more of a spa feel than a regular rubber bath mat, and the natural wood looks nice in the bathroom.
The slatted design lets water drain through instead of sitting underneath your feet. It also dries pretty quickly after the shower. It’s easy to wipe clean when needed
It’s not slippery and it’s sturdy enough that it doesn’t feel flimsy when I step on it. I did notice that the smaller size doesn’t cover a huge area, so I’d check your space before ordering.
Overall, this is a nice-looking little mat that works especially well in a smaller bathroom or shower area. I like the natural wood finish.
