This is very cute and versatile for any holiday.
The message board is very well made, the wood is smooth, the lights are very bright, and it runs on 2 AA batteries, which are not provided.
The 1000 rose petals are very pretty.They are made of very thin fabric (they’re almost see- through when completely separated) and can be strewn about for high impact decorations. My daughter also thinks they’d be good for crafting with. She says they could probably be layered and glued in place with fabric glue,
It comes with 480 plastic letters, numbers and symbols, in the colors pink, red, blue and white, and the pictures of these given in the listing are accurate.
It comes with scissors for cutting them out of the plastic frames they arrive in, so you don’t mess up your scissors cutting thick plastic…so thoughtful…I really appreciate that.
It also comes with a small canvas drawstring pouch to hold them once they’re snipped.
Each symbol comes with plastic tabs on the back to slot in between the fabric ridges of the message board.They’re held in place by the horizontal ridges pressing against the tabs, and the system works well; although, I do worry that after time or heavy use, the ridge could eventually become less stiff and therefore not hold them as securely, but for now, it works great.
The candles are super lightweight, and the back popped off one when my son picked it up, but he was able to pop it back into place. We noticed that they are all missing tiny screws to hold the backs on more securely and they don’t have the little plastic bits to keep the batteries from discharging more or rusting when not in use, so we’ll need to remove those in between uses or cut some plastic like that and fit them in there.
They do work through, and they are very bright.
I got this set with the thought that it could actually be used in a lot of different creative ways, for example, it could be used for staging YouTube videos, and also just to leave fun messages to each other on our birthdays and for display during the holidays.
The candles are very cute, and are useful for setting inside of jack-o’-lantern pumpkins, and good to have on hand in case of a power outage.
The rose petals can be used for decorating on Valentine’s Day, or on anniversaries, or for dates, or just for decoration if you like rose petals. My daughter is really keen to use them for crafting, thinking they could be layered and glued in place with fabric glue, to make a mask or a costume.
Overall, we think this thing is pretty cool, and look forward to playing with it.

This customizable letter board was priced at $35.99 at the time of my order.
I picked this up for my niece to use at her upcoming wedding. There are so many options with the amount of letters and icons in the set. I know she will use it for years to come. The main piece is well made from quality materials and sturdy. The wooden easel matches the frame and folds flat for storage. The frame requires two AA batteries in order for the lights to turn on. The heart shaped votives run off a small camera style battery and turn on/off with a switch. Those are ready to go upon arrival. A small bag is included to store the letters once they are separated. The kit even includes a scissors to help snip apart the letters. It is the least quality item in the kit; I recommend using your own scissors. It is nice to have it included so you can start playing immediately.

This is such a cute and fun little gift, and it’s definitely not just for promposals or dance invitations! My husband and I use ours to leave sweet little notes for each other and even do a little playful flirting with written messages.

The Will You Be My Girlfriend Romantic LED Proposal Sign is a versatile sign that can be used for many things – I run a comedy production company and use it for information at the ticket counter and candles on the tables. However, you could use it with kids to play or, as the listing suggests, a romantic gesture. Or 20 – as the pieces are all reusable.
The LED sign is well made of wood and felt, with the led lights inset in the sign. The sign requires batteries (not included) and once lit it is fairly bright and looks like an old-Hollywood marquee. The wood frame of the sign and matching easel are unfinished, so you can easily stain them any color you want. (Or keep unfinished.)
The sign comes with a variety of plastic letters and symbols that you can stick to the sign. I was impressed that this kit even included scissors to use to cut the letters from the plastic sticks they’re attached to. (It takes a while to remove all 480 letters, as they all come attached.)
The LED candles are very cute – they’re white and in the shape of hearts. They don’t require separate batteries – they emit enough light to have a nice glow on a small table. The set also comes with plastic rose petals.
Great quality and definitely worth it for creating a lasting memory.

Guaranteed Hit For College Kids
My son has a letter board that he puts movie quotes on, changing them every few weeks. When I saw that this board lights up, I knew I had to get it for his new dorm room, taking the risk that he’d poo-poo the idea when he saw it. Well, let me tell you. This new letter board is going to college!
When I told him how the board was advertised ((Will you be my girlfriend? kit, ironically that’s how he asked his girlfriend to be his), he rolled his eyes at me. I told him the heart-shaped tea lights and the rose petals will stay home (hello, Valentine’s Day decor!).
He loves the idea of a board with lights. Like most college kids, he doesn’t want to use the overhead fluorescent light in his room. He wants mood lighting. This letter board will fit right in. It is a bit heavy because the frame is made of real wood, so he’s planning on using the included easel and prop it up on his desk’s hutch.
There are tons of letter characters and shapes in pink, red, blue & white. I can only imagine what that board is going to say in the coming months!!! All of the little letters and shapes can be safely stored in the included canvas bag. I wish it had a zipper closure or channel closure (like a ziploc bag) because all it will take is for the bag to get knocked to the floor and the letters will be everywhere.
This kit is sure to be a hit with any high school or college kid because it gives them a creativity outlet they can personalize. All of the components of this set are well made (one of my tea lights has a cut on its surface, like someone accidentally punctured it with a box cutter) and everything can easily be stored in the original box. The led frame really ups the ante when it comes to letter boards!
