This shipped faster than expected, so that was a good start. The item was packaged well, simple to assemble, and easy to install. Follow the advice in the instructions and use a blow dryer to remove the protective film, it makes removal a snap. My wife is happy with the look of the backsplash and excited that it went up so easy.

Rarely have I found an item on Amazon I have been this pleased with when it arrived. It arrived undamaged, was carefully packed, fit perfectly above the stove, and was easy to install.
Overall I am very pleased with this item. It’s pretty heavy and seems to be well-made. All parts were included and seems pretty straightforward to assemble and install. I am knocking off 1 star because it is not packaged very well for shipping. While there was some styrofoam inside, it only protects the flat front and back of the panel: there is no protection for the edges and the box is not very durable. As a result, the panel was damaged during shipping. One corner of the box was torn open and the edge of thick part of the panel was dented and scratched. Fortunately, the damaged part will be behind and below the top surface of the stove, so it will not show, but it stinks to receive a damaged item regardless. If the damage had been in a place where it would have been visible, I would have returned it.
The shelf seems sturdy enough for its intended purpose. The hooks that come with it and hang on the bar under the shelf could use to have one end closed up around the bar, as trying to get something off of them causes the hooks to come off the bar. I saw this same issue noted in other reviews, but it did not deter me because I don’t know that I will use them anyway. The smaller “shelf” that is supposed to be for knife storage would probably be better used as a shelf. I can’t imagine that running your knife blades down through a metal slot would be very good for the edges. For my purposes, I am not going to use it, so no biggie. All in all, I am happy with the purchase, and only wish it were not damaged.
It's not so simple to install but worth the effo
The distance between my range top and hood is exactly 31″ which meant I would have to leave a gap at two ends if I choose the 30″ x 30″ version. So, I went with the 36″ x 30″ version and installed it sideways, allowing a 3″ overlap that reaches down behind the back end of the range top. I did not use the included screws and anchors as the screws do not appear to be stainless steel. Purchased pan head #10 stainless steel screws instead. After carefully getting the alignment set and penciling the screw holes the rest was fairly easy. Just had to be extra careful to not drop the panel as it could potentially severe the gas connection. The blue protective film was easy to remove using a hair dryer as recommended by Vevor’s instructions… The final product has a sheen that matches the rest of the appliances, it’s not thin and with proper care should last with no issues. Just as a note, there are a total of 4 screw holes only at the corners but no warping along the edges despite the 35″+ vertical span.
I recommend this product if you have a similar setup without a backsplash.
Looks Great and Really Dresses Up the Kitche
Really happy with this VEVOR backsplash. The stainless steel looks clean and modern and gives the area behind the stove a much more finished, professional look. It also makes cleaning up grease and splatters so much easier than dealing with a painted wall.
The shelf is an awesome addition and is perfect for keeping frequently used spices, oils, or cooking items within reach. The whole thing feels sturdy and looks much more expensive than I expected once installed.
Overall, this was a great upgrade to the kitchen. It looks sharp, is practical, and adds useful storage at the same time. Definitely glad I went with it!
