I live next door to an abandoned house. For this very reason that I’m getting some unwanted mice, not only in the room that I rent in the basement but also in my car! So I decided to give this product a try. This product is 2 pack so it’s perfect! I setup one in my room and one in my car. This product seems to be working very well so far. I have seen noticeable decrease in mice activities around the basement and even in my car. This is a very affordable solution to what could have been a very costly problem. Rodents can damage car engine components especially the cables. Easy to install as it does not require batteries, just USB. Works automatically when vehicle is parked to protect against unwanted pests, the device stops working when the car starts. Plus it emits pulsating strobe lights as it functions, which I find pretty cool and trippy! especially when I’m chilling in my room 😉
This comes in a convenient 2 pack. I have 1 in a spare vehicle that is rarely driven that the mice seem to love, and 1 near my deck on the house near my crawl space that seems to get a lot of rodent activity. We live in the middle of no-where on 10 acres with miles of open pastures surrounding us, so rodent life is abundant here. I have noticed a decline in activity near our house, and I haven’t seen/smelt mice in the vehicle I placed 1 in. I am hoping it is this device at work, but we also have barn cats, so I am not sure which is doing the best work!
These repellents are easy to set up; use the USB in a supported power supply and let it get straight to work. It has a slight noise to it but it is not very noticeable (my husband can’t hear it, and only 1 of my 3 kids can hear it). Or you can hard wire it directly to a car battery.
My main qualm with this product is that it doesn’t have its own battery source (requires outside power) to run. This makes placement quite difficult as you need to string cords or have it placed in very specific spots.
I been using this ultrasound rodent repellent for about a week. I use it in my back porch. So far it seems working pretty good. Package comes with two devices. Light weight and no insulation needed. All you need to do is to plug in with the USB cable. Turn it on you will hear the ultrasound and the red flashlight light. The ultrasound is not too loud that will hurt your ears. Since this device is put outside, I don’t want to disturb my neighbors. The ultrasound is definitely better than the ones I have been using on the pass.
The video online is very helpful to install for the car. It is very simple to mount in the car engine with no complex wiring. It doesn’t require any tools. Squirrels are everywhere around where I live. This is a great device to put in your car to prevent the squirrels to get into the wires.
