I’ve been a Tozo earbuds owner for a couple years. The first set I purchased were very quiet and not functioning properly but Tozo sent me a replacement without issue so I was very happy with customer service and became a customer instantly due to that.
I decided it was time to upgrade and t a different style and was very excited about the Open Buds since I have kids that often need my attention and I needed something that would stay on my ears instead of falling off whenever I bent over to work on something (car work, gardening, cleaning/laundry).
I haven’t had these OpenBuds for very long but first impression I am already happy with the sound quality. Setup was a breeze. The multipoint feature is awesome. I am almost permanently attached to my phone for podcasts and sometimes need to connect to a TV or my computer. It is so great to be able to hear two devices and it’s something I’ve been thinking about for awhile.
The earbuds sit great on my ears and I forget they’re there quickly. They’re very comfortable. I have thrashed my head around and already bent over and tilted my head in many ways to make sure that they stay put.
They seem well made. I do not know how the wrap over ear piece will fare if dropped or bent in a pocket and so I am a little concerned there could be a weak point where the adjustable ear piece joins to the earbuds but since my previous Tozo earbuds have stood up well against all that info without much issue I am optimistic.
I have also ordered their OpenEgo earbuds and it will be interesting to compare.
Good Quality Earphones With A Bonus Translation Function.
I’ve been really impressed with the TOZO OpenWear Open Ear Headphones. The open ear design is comfortable for long wear and perfect for running or commuting, as it keeps me aware of my surroundings while still delivering clear sound.
The Bluetooth 5.4 connection is fast and stable, with no dropouts so far. The smart digital display is a surprisingly useful feature for checking battery and settings at a glance. Call quality is also solid thanks to ENC noise cancelling, which does a good job reducing background noise.
The AI translation feature is the standout function it supports 164 languages, it’s genuinely useful for travel and quick conversations. Fast charging is another big plus, giving hours of use from just a short charge.
Overall, a versatile and well designed pair of earbuds that balance practicality, comfort, and modern features really well.
I bought these in August 2024 and they’re just now starting to fail. The buds still stay charged for about 6 hours but the box has to be recharged everyday. The sound is still good no static. I came back to buy a replacement pair. My only complaint is they sometimes feel tight on the top of my ear.
So, I had read SO MANY reviews on earbuds because I needed a new pair (shocker) lol. I normally struggle with 1) earbuds falling out and 2) earbuds not being loud enough.
I’ve been using the TOZO O2 True Open Ear Wireless Headphones for a while now, and I am seriously impressed with their performance. Here are a few features that stand out to me:
Comfort and Fit: These earbuds are incredibly comfortable. The multi-angle adjustment and design make it easy to get a perfect fit, and they stay securely in place, even during movement. I’ve had issues with other earbuds falling out even when I’m sitting still, and I can do EVERYTHING in these and have no issues. I’ve also only had one or two times where my ear felt fatigued, and a quick placement adjustment totally fixed that issue.
Sound Quality: The sound is fantastic and CRYSTAL clear, and I haven’t even fidgeted with the TOZO app yet! They’re loud enough to block out external noise when I need to focus, but what I love most is the ability to still be aware of my surroundings when needed. This has made biking feel a lot safer which I really like. BUT I will say that that is also a drawback as some of the sound does leak out if you have it over 60% volume. THAT would suck in an office setting imo.
Overall, I would totally recommend these earbuds for anyone looking for a combination of comfort, great sound, and functionality.
Also, to be noted: This is not a sponsored review, but I sure wish it was! TOZO if you hear this….how you doin’?
Premium feel and surprisingly great sound
I was genuinely impressed by these. They feel a lot more premium than I expected right out of the box. The case looks sleek, the earbuds themselves have a modern design, and overall it gives off that higher-end feel without looking flashy.
What I liked most is that TOZO actually gives you a useful app instead of just basic pairing. The app lets you adjust the EQ, and it also has a translation feature built in, which is a really cool extra to have. That made these feel a lot more versatile than just standard open-ear earbuds.
Fit is also well thought out. Since these are open-ear style, comfort really matters, and I like that there’s some adjustability so you can position them better over your ears. That makes them feel more accommodating than fixed-shape earbuds, especially if you usually struggle with fit.
Sound quality is honestly excellent. For open-ear earbuds, these sound surprisingly full and clear, and they’ve easily become one of my favorite pairs to use for everyday listening. The touch controls work well too, so being able to tap the earbuds to control things is convenient once you get used to it.
They are a bit bulkier than some smaller earbuds, but I think TOZO did a good job making them still look sleek rather than awkward. Battery life has been solid for me, charging is straightforward, and I really don’t have much to complain about.
Overall, these feel polished, comfortable, and feature-packed. If you like open-ear earbuds and want something that feels a little more advanced than the usual basic pair, these are a really nice option.
I have very small ears and earholes, and sensory issues, so earbuds that go inside the ear are a BIG NO for me. I tried airpod style headphones before, but those hurt the shell of my ears really bad, too. I also don’t like over the head ones because I get headaches easily.
I spent WEEEEEEEKS searching for headphones that I could wear that were 1. small and not inside my ears 2. would sound good 3. were cute (not the most important thing, but most things I own are pink and these fit perfectly with my aesthetic).
These checked every single box for me AND the battery life is impressive! I can put these on the second I wake up at 7 am and they don’t need to charge until around 4 or 5 pm, and then they charge SUPER quick.
They’re comfortable, and can be moved and angled in any way to suit your ear size and shape, and they are so lightweight that they don’t hurt or feel heavy. Also, I wear glasses and they don’t touch or push on them at all. Sometimes I genuinely forget that I have them on.
The sound quality is amazing, too! I listen to music and podcasts 99% of my waking time and these don’t lose any sound quality by being open ear, and even with the volume about 1/2 max, my coworkers in my office can’t hear what I’m listening to, so that’s nice too!
I also take calls on them and the sound quality for that is great, too. I haven’t had any issues at all or had anyone ask me to repeat myself or that I sound bad/distant.
I genuinely love these. They solved all of my problems with headphones and sensory issues. I wish I could give them over 5 stars. I do not go anywhere without these. I love them and so so fully recommend them!
Picture 1: the case on top of a standard stack of sticky notes for size reference
Picture 2: the case open, showing the back of the left ear bud and the front of the right ear bud proving that they are flat and do not go in the ear
Picture 3: The left ear bud hinge fully extended showing some of the range of motion with the ear bud and cuff.
So first of all, for anyone just as confused as I was, the speaker of the earbud hangs just below where a daith piercing would be. If that’s all you needed, you’re welcome.
I’ve had these for just over a month now. I’ve always had problems with wireless/bluetooth headphones. When they cover my ears like traditional headphones, I get hot and it gives my head a very unpleasant hair bump. I usually also get a headache after more than an hour because of the added weight. For earbuds, I can never find some that stay in my ears without hurting. If they don’t hurt, they fall out completely. It has been a real struggle.
These sit over the ear and you can adjust so many parts to it, including the ear fitting part. I work in a hospital pharmacy so I use these literally every day and all day. I can play music low and still hear everything around me. Sometimes I forget they are on tbh. I wear glasses and they don’t interfere at all. They are super lightweight. The charging case is super convenient, fits in your pocket without weighing very much at all.
THE EASE OF CONNECTIVITY IS OUTRAGEOUS! (I have iPhone for reference)
In the month I have had them, I’ve never had to reset them. If I disconnect my phone from bluetooth for any reason, I just need to reconnect in my Bluetooth options. Super easy, no messing with the case. I have had so many pairs that make you literally repair them if you so much as charge your earbuds! Also if you want to switch from mono to stereo just open the case, wait for the blue dot, and slip them on/off. I can switch from mono-left ear to mono-right ear in a few seconds without messing with pairing settings at all, just using the case. When I get in my car, I just place the earbuds back into the case and my music continues through my speakers. I can also control the volume through my watch which is super convenient, I didn’t even have to sync that part it just did it.
The battery life is great! Like I said before I play music all day. So if you figure about 7 hours straight of listening time (minus lunch and times I need both ears open) I still have life in them when I get home. You get a soft ding when the battery starts getting low, so no random music drops.
If you need silent moments, just pause. You can hear perfectly fine with them on, like they aren’t even there.
CONS
You /can/ use them on a call but I wouldn’t recommend doing that regularly. I’ve been told it sounds like I’m underwater or across the room.
Sound quality isn’t outstanding but it’s honestly pretty good all things considered. Not Beats obviously, but I’d give sound quality 3.5/5. Remember it’s hovering over your ear, not in your ear, so only so much can be done about that.
You DO need to charge them. I can only get about a day and a half out of them if I use both continuously, so I suggest charging them nightly like your phone.
The touch sensor on the outside of the speaker is super sensitive. I knock it all the time on accident and for me that’s the only annoying thing. But I fiddle with my hair a lot so that’s on me. If you keep your hands away, you’ll be fine.
TLDR; great ear buds for price, and I would buy them again!
Zufriede
These sound the best of all of the ones that fit like these that I’ve tried and I certainly tried so very many of them up to 150 dollars. They even fit my odd shaped and somewhat tall ears. They just a tiny bit too short but not by much and the way they are adjustable is very nice and will benefit so many of you put there as they come just the tiniest bit short for me. They are still comfortable for me but could be just the smallest bit better. And the sound is loud clear and full which to me leaves the others in the dust. They are a little bigger than the rest so get a color you like very much. I can safely recommend them 100% and they as well as all of the TOZO items are priced pretty well too.
