Almost more fun than the card games
I love this card shuffler. It is almost more fun than the card game. It comes ready to go straight out of the box.
The shuffler has an guide on top that can be adjusted to suit larger cards if needed. It comes with a usb charging cord and 2 decks of cards. The base of the machine can be removed so you can simply lift it off the cards after they have been shuffled. If you prefer, you can leave the base on and the cards will be shuffled onto a slide out shelf. You also have two shuffling options – automatic or manual.
Operating the machine is simple. Place an even number of cards on the side trays and press start. Newer cards will shuffle better than older cards. I found my old UNO deck occasionally stopped shuffling as the cards have gotten a bit sticky with age. The machine can shuffle up to 4 decks of cards at one time.
Obviously you can hear the shuffler running but it is not overly noisy and you could definitely keep talking while the cards were being shuffled. The best thing for me however is that it is rechargeable. That means you can use it anywhere – you don’t need to have a power point nearby or worry about batteries going flat. My grandson and his friends play a lot of board games and card games and he has already put dibs on the shuffler for his next games night.
If you play a lot of cards, this is definitely worth getting.
No more playing 52 card pick-up while shuffling
I’m a terrible card shuffler who takes so long to shuffle and drops half the deck on the table, especially when it’s more than one deck. But now I can pull this automatic shuffler out instead.
It’s rechargeable, so there’s no need to worry about replacing batteries, and it can shuffle up to four decks at once. There are two modes: hold the button down for manual shuffling, or press it once for automatic mode and it shuffles the whole deck in just a few seconds. The first time I used it, I was actually surprised at how fast it was.
It also comes with two decks of silver playing cards that look really nice. They have a smooth, almost plastic feel that slides through the machine perfectly and seem much more durable than regular paper cards.
I also tried it with one of my older waxy-feeling decks that has worn, slightly fuzzy edges. It still shuffled them well, although every now and then one card would catch on the edge and I’d have to give it a little push. To see how well it actually mixed the cards, I combined one new deck with one old deck, and they came out thoroughly shuffled.
One feature I really like is that it works with different card sizes. The adjustable guides on top flip up or down depending on the size of the cards you’re using. And normally the shuffled cards collect neatly in the pull-out tray, but you can also remove the bottom so the cards are shuffled directly onto the table if you prefer.
Overall, this is a fun little gadget that’s perfect for game nights. It shuffles quickly, works well, and best of all, I don’t have to embarrass myself trying to shuffle cards anymore.
