This is a very cute bathroom rug if you have a beach house or perhaps a ski house with a beach theme! This is very soft under foot and absorbs water well so it doesn’t feel soaking wet when you are standing on it with wet feet out of the shower. It has held up nicely to a few months of use and washes. It has not faded from the washes and feels like it will last for quite a while as long as the robot vacuum doesn’t attack it.
This mat is placed on a tile floor and does not move around at all while getting out of the shower and standing on it in front of the sink. The price seems in line with similar high quality bathr ugs available here. If this matches your decor, go for it!

The first time washing it pilled some but not bad
This rug made a nice impression as soon as I put it down. The coastal design has a relaxed beachy feel without being too loud, and it adds a bit of color in a simple way. I like decor that can brighten up a space without taking over the whole room, and this does that well. The surface feels soft under bare feet, which is one of the first things I noticed, especially for something meant for a bathroom or entry area. It has a comfortable feel that makes it more inviting than a basic thin mat.
The backing seemed to grip the floor better than I expected when I tested it on a smooth surface. It stayed in place nicely during normal stepping on and off, which is important for a rug like this. I would still make sure the floor underneath is clean and dry before placing it, but from this initial use it felt stable and not slippery. The rug also lays fairly flat without a lot of curling at the edges, so it looked presentable pretty quickly after being set out. That matters to me because some mats take a while to relax and stop looking wrinkled.
The flocked top has a softer texture than the standard bath mats I usually see, and that gives it a more finished look. It does not feel rough or plasticky when touched. I also like that it seems versatile enough to use beyond the bathroom. I could easily see this working near a kitchen sink, in a laundry space, or even by a back door if the room has a casual coastal style. The ocean themed design is noticeable, but it is not so busy that it limits where the rug could go. It has enough personality to be decorative while still feeling practical.
I have not washed it yet, so I cannot speak to how it holds up after cleaning, but the material and stitching looked decent on first inspection. Nothing stood out as poorly made, and the edges looked neat on mine. The thickness feels reasonable too. It is not one of those super bulky mats that gets in the way, but it still has enough softness to make standing on it feel better than a bare floor. For an initial impression, this rug seems like a good mix of comfort, appearance, and everyday usefulness. It feels pleasant to step on, it stayed put well during use, and the coastal look gives it a little extra charm without making it look cheesy. It is the kind of rug that can make a small area feel a bit more finished right away, and that is really what stood out to me most after setting it down and trying it.
The theme and shape of this whimsical surfboard beachy bathroom rug are very upbeat and fun for a kids bathroom. The colors are a bit of a strange combo, especially the olive green. That’s not quite my favorite part of the color scheme. Doesn’t seem to go with the pastel blue and green shades very well.
The texture is quite soft, and plushier than I expected. This is kind of return to rug stylings of the past, versus the closer cropped rug fabric that’s become very popular the last few years. I have a summery / beach-themed shower curtain that would go well with this rug, and I’ll likely put them together in our guest bath come June for the season.
The white floral design reminds me of the flower power days of the late 60’s. There’s also a Hawaiian feeling about the pattern and design. You can pick up on different decorating themes around this cute accent rug. It’s great that it is washable; as you would expect for a bathroom rug to be. This one seems like it will stay soft after laundering as long as you don’t use heavy detergents or high heat to dry it.

Unique bathroom rug to give your bathroom a different style! We use this for the guest bathroom at our house at the beach so it was a great way to give an otherwise normal bathroom a little flair. The rug is pretty long and covers enough space to absorb the water after getting out of the shower and it doesn’t slip from under you. It’s soft on our feet. Only had it for a a few weeks but it seems like it’s pretty durable after a wash.
