Spruces Up My Rental Kitche
I needed a new range hood for my rental, and this one really spruces up the kitchen. The stainless steel finish looks clean and modern, and the unit feels sturdy once installed. The rocker switches make the fan and light easy to operate.
There are two fan speeds. Low works well for boiling and lighter cooking, while high provides stronger suction for frying, smoke, and steam. It is reasonably quiet on low but noticeably louder on high. The aluminum mesh filter is easy to remove for cleaning and will do a good job catching grease. It will take a while for it to accumulate.
It does require hardwiring, and the bulb, plug, and ductwork are not included. I like that it supports several venting configurations and can be used ductless with a separate charcoal filter. This was a practical update that made my rental kitchen look much fresher instead of the old tan one.
