Very nice pillow.
I was very empresses with this pillow. It’s came in a fancy box and what well packaged. The quality is great and it’s so easy to clean and the silk doesn’t peel. So comfortable and soft. Great toddler size and fluffs nicely in the dryer. So it’s not to thick or to thin. Good buy and would definitely buy again.
THXSILK Toddler Pillow 13x18 100% Silk Pillowcase
I got this for myself actually, not for a baby. I use a small travel pillow most of the time and this size is pretty close to what I like.
The pillowcase feels soft and a little cool to the touch. The pillow is very flat, though I just got it for the pillowcase. The filling is light, not dense, and I occasionally roll it up to go under my neck when I’m on the couch.
It washes fine on gentle in a lingerie bag and I let it air dry. The pillowcase is the envelope style so no zipper to deal with.
Silk and Tencel Toddler Pillow
The packaging for this toddler pillow is so elegant. I loved the whole experience of opening the box that was so nicely wrapped up inside with tissue paper. The pillowcase and pillow both are packaged separately on arrival. This even includes a mesh laundry bag which was a nice and unexpected surprise! I like that this can be washed in the machine to keep it clean and sanitary. You have to remember to use a mesh laundry bag however and to use a gentle detergent that won’t ruin this. The quality of this pillow is lovely and it feels so soft and nice overall. I am happy with the value that this pillow offers for such a nicely made product.
Silk pillow
This is the holy grail for a travel pillow! It is meant for toddlers and that die but actually it still works for my adult size head and is perfect for traveling. I use thxsilk pillowcase at home and have missed it on trips and now I have the perfect pillow to take when I travel! It is luxurious and soft, the silk is so comfortable on your skin and great quality. The fact that it includes a pillow insert tha is soft and thin is amazing at this price. It came in lots of colors too. The pillow is the perfect thickness for me, a side and belly sleeper. The filling is soft and not lumpy but thin enough that I can add it to my travel bag. This is my new favorite purchase for self care! Plus the pillow is aesthetically pleasing- the silk is elegant and pretty!
Lightweight and easy to travel with.
This is a practical pillow that’s not too thick. 100% silk cover is smooth and soft material. It’s a blueish gray color. I did get it for my 22-month-old, but he really doesn’t stay on it and uses the pillow. I liked the idea because silk is naturally moisture wicking and he sleeps warm. It is small, lightweight and compact. It will be good for traveling in the car and such. The cover is easy to remove and wash as well. The quality of the stitching on the pillow and material used is very good. Appears to be very durable and should hold up well with multiple washings. They talk about a zipper, but mine has no zipper.
Super soft pillowcase, not soft pillow
This THXSILK toddler pillow is super soft and silky and it was packaged extremely nice for a pillow! The downsides include whether it is a good idea to put something as fancy as silk to be needing frequent washes from kids being gross kids. Also the pillow that comes with it was shockingly flat! I expected it to plump up after resting a bit, but it did remain flat. It did later occur to me that this is probably planned to help decrease risk of suffocation. I am definitely a sucker for a soft, cushion-y pillow so that seems more personal preference.
The pillowcase itself will fit on any toddler pillow, though, because it looks and feels so smooth and soft! Its never too early to start protecting that hair while we sleep!
Perfect Height, Weight of Filling and Length for Toddlers or for a Comfortable Travel Size Pillow
I love this pillow! THXSILK is my fav Amazon Mulberry silk company, I own many of their bedding items that I have purchased outside of the Vine program. This pillow is actually for me, for when I travel. I didn’t want another memory foam one, I used to have a little one but threw it out. My pain in the neck just does not like memory foam. I only like memory foam in my insole of my heel/shoe. If I could find a toddler size/travel pillow made of just goose down, I’d purchase that. For now, this one is nice for my flight travels as its very packable. It’s just the right amount of weight, length and height. It’s perfect for a toddler so they don’t strain their neck.
The pillow filling has 10% mulberry silk fibers so it needs to be hand washed, but be careful when drying it. Never, ever use high heat! Only gentle cycle, air dry. I made that mistake with an expensive mulberry silk filled throw years ago and the silk got all clumped up like cotton candy. It is un-clumpable, but takes days on end to do that. Though I prefer cotton, wool or feather fillings, it is of good quality; at least it’s it’s not made of small chunks of cheap foam that I have seen in some pillows. I wash all my silks, cashmere, etc with The Laundress soaps…they make a spray as well for in between washes. I add Lanolin oil to the water to make it silky soft and protect the fibers. Some people add vinegar for shine, it does work…I just don’t like the smell of vinegar. Mulberry silk does not need to be washed often at all. It is breathable so does not absorb odors the way synthetic fiber pillowcases do.
The pillow’s fabric cover is also very smooth and soft. A comfortable pillow for baby or toddler’s stroller, a princess spoiled pet or even for travel.
The mulberry silk pillowcase is excellent quality! Very soft and silky, not too thin–just the right momme that is suggested for a mulberry silk pillowcase. The champagne color is lovely! By the way, my duvet cover that houses my cloud soft PACIFIC COAST pure down (not feathers!) filled comforter is from THXSILK and it’s in the background of my photos. (A little wrinkled lol I need to steam it.) I absolutely love THXSILK. My Japanese friend told me THXSILK sells their products in Asia at the upscale dept. stores there.
It comes with a oversized quality, zippered white mesh storage bag that fits a baby silk throw, I have a gorgeous mulberry champagne color silk throw from THXSILK that actually fits in this storage/travel bag and matches this toddler pillow.
This is a delightful, luxury gift for a baby shower. Babies deserve luxury too! They went through a lot to pop out on Earth! It comes sealed in a nice ivory branded gift box with wash care instructions.

The pillow did not have any scent when it arrived. The fabric feels soft and gentle against the skin. There has been no irritation for me or my baby. The size feels just right, and it has the right thickness for a baby pillow. I feel safe using it around my baby. The stitching is tight and clean. I did not notice any loose threads. It feels simple and well made. So far, I have no complaints. I am happy with it, and it works well as a nice pillow for my baby.
