11 Month Later, Still Looks and Works As New!
I’ve had this Thermos for about 11 months now and have been very impressed with its performance.
I work 12 hour work days year round, in the winter here it gets down into the -30’s Celsius for extended periods, and occasionally into the -40’s with the wind chill, so I like to have a hot meal at lunch.
I will load this fresh off the stove/out over the oven/crock pot at supper in the evening and then put the insulated plug in and lid on, and at lunch the following day I will open it up and the contents will still be steaming hot!
In addition to work I’ve now used this for ice fishing, hunting, and on a few all day winter hikes.
I absolutely love this thing and am going to be purchasing one for my father-in-law for his lunches as well this year as it’s now beginning to get cold again.
The quality and performance of this Thermos is top notch and a must have for anyone who spends a lot of time in the cold and appreciates a hot meal without the need for a fire or microwave!

I loved this food thermos. It keeps food hot for several hours, making it perfect for soups, stews, or rice to take to work, school, or on the go. It also keeps food cold very well.
The material feels strong and high quality, with no leaks or spills, and the lid seals tightly. It’s easy to clean and the size is perfect for a full serving.

I just upgraded my rating on this product because I found another use for it that takes it from being (for me) a great product, to an AWESOME product.
I got this to use as a thermal cooker for emergency meals, and for me it performs very well for that task, even though it is not advertised for this purpose. And it’s a good size for 2 servings.
I just wasn’t sure I found any value in the plastic jars that came with it. Thinking I would rather have just gotten the insulated steel jug without the jars and maybe saved a few bucks, I took off one star from my rating. The jars are made of plastic that could become deformed with too much heat, so I didn’t think I’d have much use for them.
THEN I made a decision to start making my own yogurt to reduce the amount of plastic trash I throw out that can’t be recycled. This thermos jug works beautifully as a yogurt incubator, and the jars can not only be used for incubation — the temperature is no higher than 115 F, which is well within the temperature range they can withstand — they also make great storage jars in the fridge.
BONUS: If you don’t want to use plastic to incubate your yogurt, the steel jug is just the right size to fit a quart-sized mason jar. The only thing is, the inner part of the lid won’t fit, so when you use a mason jar, you can just stuff a clean kitchen wash cloth into the jug on top of the jar to insulate the lid, then put the lid on. After 12 hours sitting on the countertop, the contents have lost some warmth, of course, but are still warm enough to keep incubation going.

Good thermos for food. It keeps food hot for several hours and has a practical size to take to work . The materials feel resistant and it is easy to clean. I give it 4 stars because I expected it to keep the heat for a little longer, but in general it fulfills its function very well and offers good value for money. I would recommend it for daily use.
